hold me
Hold me in your arms, caress my heart with your hands and tell me everything will be okay. Hold me and never let me go. Dance with me in the middle of the night. Hold me by my waist and tell me what's on your mind. Love me, never let me go. Because I love being with you. Every moment and second I feel like I'm alive and loved. Just talking to you makes me feel at home but when it's silent. Loneliness takes over and wraps me in its arms. It holds me close and ripe its fingers into my flesh. Then you come back and it goes away and I can breathe. Love me....hold me....do anything, just don't go. I finally feel love and it's because of you. I finally know what's it's like to love again and be happy. I'm terrified I'll lose you, and you don't know how scared I really am. I hide it behind I'm fine and I'm okay. When in reality I just want you to come over and reassure me you aren't leaving....hold me in your arms. Kiss me. Cup my cheeks. Let me feel your warmth that I desire the most. All these uncertainties go away when I'm with you...I just want these moments to last forever.
