Chapter 30

"You guys did great with this first table read." The producer of the drama said to Yoongi, myself and the rest of the cast. 

"I do have a question, who is supposed to be playing my older brother?" I asked the producer. 

"Actually, Julien Kang, I'm not sure if you've heard of him but he'll make a great oppa for you in the show." He smiled.

I turned to Yoongi, "Who is that?" I asked.

"Uh...he's not a very big actor anymore really. He's half white though so that's probably why they cast him as your brother....He has a western look." He shrugged.

We said our goodbyes and I called Jiho to see if I should pick something up for dinner, of course, his lack of planning made the decision easy on me. I stopped to get pizza since the kids rarely get to eat out anymore. 

I walked in the door to hear arguing between Hiro, Sangu and Yuna. I put the pizza's down on the counter and snapped.

"What the hell is going on?" I looked between them all.

"They started it," screamed Hiro. 

"Did not!" the twins yelled in unison.

"I just got done with my paper for school and they completely destroyed it!" Hiro was whining now.

"Where is your father? Better question where is Insu?" I asked after realizing Insu was nowhere to be found.

"He took that stupid nanny home, Insu is with him. Why do we even need her around." Hiro sank on the couch. 

"She's here because of things like this happening when you guys are alone. Did you at least save your paper before printing it out?" I asked. 

"Yes, but I didn't print it here because we're out of ink." He said with anger in his voice.

"Seriously!" I rubbed my forehead, "And you two, I want all electronics from you including phones."

"What, why?" They screamed.

"Because, until you learn to respect your brother you are not getting any more privileges. You'll go straight to school and come straight back, no exceptions." I walked back to my room to change.

I came out of the room just as Jiho came home, the kids were all sitting at the table glaring at each other as they ate. I saw Jiho looking at them with this confused expression.

"What did I miss?" 

"Might as well have been a war going on when I came home. Those two keep destroying Hiro's things lately, it's like they are jealous and I don't understand why." I took Insu from Jiho.

"Was it really that bad, I've only been gone thiry minutes and it's because SoYun needed a ride home." He grabbed some food. 

"I feel like they may need more than a nanny, I just don't know what. Maybe we should find something for them to do to burn energy after school." I suggested.

"Well, they can be put in dance or gymnastics. Neither of them likes sports so I'm not really sure what else they can do."

"What if we enroll Sangu into a STEM program so he can work on the things he likes to do in his spare time anyway. Yuna can do gymnastics or maybe take an acting class a couple days a week." I said.

Insu started to squirm so I adjusted him. We continued to discuss what the twins would do before bringing it up to them. of course, they threw tantrums at first but eventually decided it was a good idea for them to be apart for a little while each day. I cleaned up after dinner and then we got settled on the couch to have a little bit of us time even though Insu was still up.

"Alright so we start filming on the first, that's a week from tomorrow so I need you to make sure that you have some plan for dinner in case I get caught up at work or I have to shoot later scenes," I said to Jiho over the phone.

"Yes, babe. Can't we just hire a cook for the time being?" He joked.

"No Jihoshi! That's such a waste of money! The kids don't need someone else to antagonize when we're not home anyway." I chuckled. "Anyway, I have to go, I love you."

I walked into the room where our last table read was going to be, before we start to film next week. I saw an unfamiliar man and assumed it to be Julien Kang, I was right and he smiled as soon as he saw me come in.

"So you must be my sister." He said in English.

"Yes, nice to meet you," I smirked and bowed.

"Nice to meet you as well, sorry I had missed the first few readings but I was out of the country. I have heard nothing but amazing things about you and I'm excited to work with you." He said.

"Same here, my husband spoke very highly of you from the few times he met you. I'm really excited to work with someone that kinda gets my culture." 

"Ah you two met, great. So I need you two to make sure you seem to have this very close bond when we start filming. That way it shows through your characters as well." He said to us both.

Slowly the rest of the cast started to trickle in and we talked a bit, getting to know each other better. It was great to hear crazy stories from another person who grew up in the west, it has been so long since I got to have a conversation with someone who wasn't Korean. We read over the last two episodes of the drama and got directions of the place we would all meet next week on the day of filming. 

I was exhausted and wasn't sure what to expect when I got home, all I know is that I was excited to get home and get in my bed. When I did arrive home, the house was dark, all lights except the living room were off and it was silent, this seemed so off because this never happened. I walked into the living room to find Jiho sitting with a bunch of food spread out on the floor, he was smiling and I couldn't help but smile back at him.

A/N: So I had originally planned to update this more than twice this month but clearly that hasn't happened. I wanted to have this story done and finish up wild and young afterward, But I just decided to participate in Camp Nanowrimo to hopefully write a story that I've had on my mind for quite a while. That being said any updates through July are probably going to be very few, unfortunately. If you like to write but don't know what Nanowrimo is you should definitely check it out. :)
