Chapter 13

Zico's POV

"It's been a few weeks since Izzy finished up her album, she starts promoting this week and then she leaves in two weeks for her tour." I said to Kyung.

"Damn dude, this all seemed to happen quick. What about Evolve, when are they debuting?"

"Tonight actually, they are probably practicing in the dance studio." I smiled, I was almost as excited as they were with the debut.

"So are you still okay with Namjoon going with her?" He asked after a few minutes had passed.

I shrugged my shoulders, "I mean I don't really want them too but they signed a contract, I trust Izzy and know Jiyong and Youngbae will look out for her."

"That's good that she has friends like that, they understand you guys are together and will help protect that." He chuckled, "I'm really surprised that you trust two guys to take care of her and not try anything though."

"Lay off, neither of them have shown that type of affection towards Izzy. They wrestle and act like siblings, Jiyong is married anyways and CL hangs out with Iz at least once a week." I shook my head at him.

"Yeah but isn't Youngbae single again. He may try to put the moves on her next." He was smiling so brightly.

"Shut up dude. Izzy isn't going to let anything happen. What about you, you still haven't brought the new girl around to meet everyone?" I nudged him.

"Eh, we'll do it when Izzy comes back in a few months. I don't want my friends to scare her off, I mean look at you with four kids and your not even in your 30s yet."

"Yeah, Yeah, Yeah. You know I wouldn't change my life for anything though, the fact that I met my soulmate when I was twenty-one made things a lot easier on me. I knew from the moment we met that I wanted to be with her, even if I was acting like an asshole." I smiled thinking about everything.

We sat quietly as Kyung text on his phone and I was lost in my thoughts for who knows how long before I decided to break the silence.

"Ya know, I still haven't told her that I may serve my military service when she's done with this tour." I looked at him and shock was spread across his face.

"I thought we were all going to do it together....Have you told anyone yet?" He asked.

"No, I can't wait around though, it's going to be hard enough leaving my family then and even harder later on. What if she gets pregnant again and I have to leave before the baby is born, I can't do that to her. I've even contemplated going while she's on tour so that she won't have to go two years with nothing to do without me here."

"You need to really talk to her, but what about the kids?"

"I know Taewoon is finishing up his recent work so I may talk to him first to see if he'd help my parents with the kids until the tour is over for Izzy. I'd have to find someone to manage Evolve while I'm away too." I got up and walked over to the window looking out at the building around me in Seoul.

"I've gotta go." I said walking out of my office.

I made my way to the YG building where I knew Izzy would be practicing. I was right when I got there I was told she was in the dance studio, greeted by a few of their trainee's and current artists I walked toward the elevator. When I got to the floor of the studio she was supposed to be in I got off and went to look for the room. I spotted the door only because her name was on it in big English letters, the only problem was the door was open and I didn't see anyone in there. I seen who I assumed to be a dancer walking the hallway and stopped him to ask if he'd seen her.

"Yes, she's at the roof with the other bands touring with her." He bowed and walked to the studio.

Why were they on the roof?! I got back on to the elevator and took it to the top floor where I'd have to take the stairs up to the roof. I walked slowly as to not seem like I was worried about what was going on but as I opened the door everyone got quiet and looked at me anyways.

"Babe, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be with Evolve for their debut?" She looked at me questioningly.

I looked around to see Big Bang and Bts all together, still staring at me.

"I have a few hours before I have to be there, I just really need to talk to you about something." I smiled.

"Well can it wait till were home together later? I mean were really trying to work on a collab piece involving all of us and it's been hard since we started this morning." She looked between me and everyone else.

"It really can't wait, I just need twenty minutes Izzy." I pleaded with her.

"Alright but then I have to finish working on this with them." She excused herself and followed me back down to the dance studio.

"So why aren't you practicing in here?" I asked curiously.

"You really think we can all fit in here and someone not get hurt. The only place big enough is the front lawn or the roof and we didn't want it to be seen before we do it at shows." She smiled. "Now what did you really need to talk about?"

"You know that I have to serve almost two years in the military. I was thinking about going once your done with the tour...." I stopped for a minute.

"What? You would really leave once I came back so we really wouldn't be able to see each other for a while." I put my hand up to stop her.

"Let me finish. I was thinking about it this morning while talking to Kyung. What if I leave shortly while your still on tour? I mean that way your not stuck with all the kids for two years alone and you'd have something to keep you occupied for the first year. I don't want to be away from you guys ever but I have to do it Izzy and I figured its better now than later on." I looked at her and she seemed to be getting really upset and I didn't blame her.

"What about Evolve, who will watch the other kids and take Hiro to his games?" She asked sounding a little worried.

"I'm thinking of having Kyung look out for Evolve for the time I'm away. As for the kids I'm sure Taewoon and my parents will be fine with them for that time your away. When you get back you can hire a live in nanny if you want to until I return home or see if one of your friends wants to spend a year abroad with you." I smiled trying to reassure her that everything would be fine.

"I think we should both think about this some more and finish this conversation at home later tonight." She smiled a fake smile at me and walked out of the studio.

I decided to let her be and go meet up with Evolve and treat them to lunch before their debut on Mcountdown.
