Jennie’s POV

“So how was working with Jisoo? Have you talked already about your past? Are you together now? I wanna meet her!” Lisa asked happily as she watched Frozen for the nth time. She’s here in my room again to spend a night.

“Good.No.No”

“WhAT? SERIOUSLY UNNIE? What are you doing these past 4 months working with her? You’re wasting too much time huh” she said as she looked at me in disbelief

“I tried to asked her to grab dinner together but she just kept on declining it. She would always say that if it is about business then we should just set a meeting in the company” i sighed

“How was she now?”

“She’s really different now when she’s with me, she’s too formal, serious, cold, and she rarely smile. A 180 degree turn of personality. It feels like I’m working with another version of her. But when she’s with Chaeyoung she’s like the same old Jisoo I’ve known before”

“You can tell that she was really hurt. I kept on asking Chaeng what happened after that time when Jisoo saw you and Bobby kissing at the parking area, but she keeps on telling me that she’s not in the position to tell”

“For a million times Lisa, i didn’t kissed back, okay? And yeah I know I’ve hurt her a lot” i respond as i closed my eyes

“Are you making it up to her?”

“Of course, when we’re in a meeting or planning i always bought her French Vanilla coffee cause that’s her favorite, but she won’t drink it. I tried to ask her how was her day and all but she’s just changing the topic back to business. It seems that she’s all about business now”

“That’s all? Coffee and small talks?”

“I think”

“Oh come on. What a loser. Step up your game unnie!” she said as she nudged my shoulder

“I-I don’t know how”

“Shut up! I know you know how. You’re just afraid of rejection”

I just remained quiet

“In those 4 months, she didn’t tried to ask you again?”

“Are you even listenting to me Lisa? I said she’s really different now! She’s avoiding me. During site visiting she won’t even show up and just send Chaeyoung there”i replied annoyingly

“That’s so unprofessional of her unnie. She shouldn’t bring her personal issues to her work”

“No, it’s not. Actually i could just send my secretary or any of my employees there too but i chose to go myself hoping that she’d be there too and we could have time together and finally tell her everything but it’s always just Chaeyoung”

“Ohhh it sounds like she got over you already unnie”

“i don’t know Lisa if I’m just being delusional but there are times i caught her staring at me, and way she looks at me, it’s full of adoration and love. I know because that’s how she looked at me before. Everytime she decline my offer, she would say it in the best way possible to not to hurt me. Those coffee i bought for her everytime we met, although she doesn’t drink it in front of me, she didn’t miss on bringing it home even if it’s not hot anymore. Those little things gives me hope, Lisa”

“Then talk to her unnie. You’re just making it hard for both of you”

Another day on seeing her and I’m always looking forward for this since we just only have meetings thrice a month or for some urgent one.

OH MY GODDD! WHAT A LUCKY DAY TO BE ALIVE! Today she didn’t wear a business attire. She’s wearing silver dress with a slit, black high heels, with a light make up. She’s so pretty today and i can’t even focus because i just kept on admiring her. Maybe she’s going to a date after our meeting.

Ouch that hurts.

“Uhm, Miss Kim y-you look beautiful t-t-today” i complemented when we finished the meeting

Wow that was the smoothest stutter ever dumbitch. This is embarrassing, when Jisoo came back I never fail to feel nervous and stutter when we’re alone.

“Oh thank you Miss Kim, you too you look pretty as always” she said confidently and wink as we exit the conference room

WAITTTT. WHAT WAS THAT? Did she just- did she just flirt with me? I swear she winked at me. Okay maybe that’s reaching and I’m just hallucinating. BUT this is the first time she talked to me that is not related to business

“I bet you’re going on a date”

“It’s a dinner business meeting, actually” she smiled. Oh i love that smile

“Hey!” someone shouted along the hall

“Oh Hi Suho oppa! I greeted and hugged him

“Hi jen! Oh hello there gorgeous Jijibabe!” he said as he broke the hug and went to Jisoo to kiss her cheek and hug her tight

They know each other? He called Jisoo, Jijibabe? Oh hell no!

“Hello Suho-ssi” she greeted back feeling uncomfortable

“What’s with the formality?” he asked

The fuck is happening here? What’s going on? Somebody please tell me!

“We’re in front of my business partner”

“Well, your business partner is my cousin. So i guess this is okay. Right Jen?

“Oh-ah- it’s o-okay i guess” i fake a smile

“WHAT? MISS KIM IS YOUR COUSIN? Jisoo asked. Shocked and felt more uneasy as she move subtly away from Suho oppa

“Yes, Jijibabe” he said and smirked

I felt jealous. What is this? are they together? No! No! No! This can’t be. Jisoo is mine! SHE. IS. MINE! I felt like crying and shaking. I need to compose myself i shouldn’t embarrass my self here.

“I think we should get going Jijibabe. Mom and Dad is waiting” he informed as he looked at the time in his wrist watch

“Alright, take care you both” i said

“Good bye, Miss Kim” Jisoo said as she bowed and walked away together with Suho going to the elevator

I walked fast on the opposite direction going back to my office. When i got inside i closed the door intermediately. I just breakdown and cry my heart out.

It hurts too much.

This pain is slowly killing me.

Why? Why it has to be Suho oppa of all the people?

Am i already too late?
