I saw Debra run like the wind, she had no idea that she wasn't an ordinary girl too, the truth sunk in so deeply that everything I've just learned about my life really hurts right now. The flashy Lady Gaga wannabe looked at me disapprovingly 

"Look at you, trying to be all brave. A single Facade won't harm a royal vampire such as me---" 

"Lady Akana" the tattoed man spoke up "What about the girl?" 

she rolled her eyes at him "Go eat her, whatever" what a spoiled brat. The tattoed man smiled and dashed out of the way, I'll take care of him later. This will be fast....

DEBRA

What the heck! My hurt was thumping as I ran, I couldn't remember anything even if I tried to. The last think I remembered was eating with Gemma. I wonder if Gemma's okay. Shoot I'm lost, where was I? I forgot how big our school was. I looked around, I felt a bit relieved that I escaped but I felt a tinge of guilt leaving May behind...May, she was acting really strange when she commanded me to run. I wasn't a fan or running away from my enemies but as far as I know, the people who kidnapped me were different. Suddenly I felt my body freeze, I can't move! My eyes were fixated on a man with a tattoo, oh God he was smiling. I knew that he was going to hurt me, I slowly closed my eyes...I am ready to die

"Hey you!" a familiar voice screamed, I wanted to turn my back but my body won't let me. I saw a strange shadow animal jumped and bit my attacker's hand, he shouted in pain. I saw Gemma running towards me, she was crying. Silly girl. 

"Are you okay?" her lips were trembling and her glasses were misaligned, what happend to her? I gave her a quick nod, I hope she saw it. Then I saw that boy Lukas with her, he looked relieved to see me then he looked at my attacker. Geez, what in the world is going on?

"I see you've been promoted, Kelhak" he says coldly

Kelhak? What an ugly name.

"Ah, if it isn't the Prince....no...the outcast. I didn't expect you'd be here, you've been banished from our clan ages ago. What have we done for you to interfere again?" the ugly guy replies 

Huh? Ages ago? Clan? Luke banished? Last time I check we were living in the 21st century

"Elianna, I've come to fetch her. I sincerely hope that you won't intrude" his eyes were turning red and his...fangs? Are those fangs? Oh my God is this a nightmare...? Gemma looked at my terrifying reaction, she placed her hand on my shoulder "It's alright, he won't hurt you" she smiles warmly

"You think so?" I smirked, trying to gain my composure, I am a bully not a damsel in distress

"Yes of course" she bit her lip "Let me help you with your wound" 

"Elianna?" Kelhak's voice seemed frightened "Impossible! She's dead my Prince, you, above all vampires must know that"

"I know that too, and only I have actually came face to face with her and lived so I know what I am talking about" Lukas glanced at my direction "You brought badluck when you tried to harm her best friend"

"May?" I choked " May's a vampire too?"

"It's more complicated than that" Gemma replies " She's a Facade"

"What is a Facade? And Gemma, how do you know all of this?"

Gemma bit her lip and looked away, that means she's hiding something, I saw her look at Lukas and he nodded at her then she looks at me "Germaina is my real name and the reason why I know these things is because...well Lukas is my brother" 

"B-but aren't we...childhood bestfriends? Since Kindergarten along with May...oh May she..." 

Gemma hugged me when I ran out words to say and whispered gently " Sometimes memories are buried for a reason...and sometimes they need to be replaced to forget....shattered ones" 

then I saw Lukas attack Kelhak "You don't understand, I will not lose her again!" his voice sounded so cold, his stare was as frightening as May's the last time I saw her "Where is she?" he tugged on his collar. I found my voice replying "She's at the school cafeteria Lukas" they both turned to me 

"You!" Kelhak clenched his teeth "She deserves to be punished, she killed our neophytes!"

"She was trying to defend me! Those neocreeps were stalking me so I called her, and she came and rescued me!" I snapped at him

"What's her condition?" Lukas asked

"Condition? She was acting strange, she was trembling and--"

"---you left her with a vampire Kelhak?" Lukas cuts me off, fuming " It seems that your friend is imminent danger"

Blood. I looked at my hands, it was full of it. My eyes shifted towards her gaze, her expression was all fear--real fear "Please...please...don't hurt me. I'm sorry I didn't mean to...to..hurt your friend" I can feel myself grinning but I tried to stop myself but this voice inside me...the AVNAR...it's possessing me

DO IT MAY, FINISH HER OFF

I raised my hands up, my prey was helpless and numb. I broke her wrists and her legs were bruised, how could I do that? I don't even hate her that much....I much prefer hate myself....I was a monster. As I strike, my hand I felt someone tightly grab my hand

"Snap out of it May!" a familiar voice said, I looked up and saw Nuriel, I was so relieved and I didn't know why "Don't let the AVNAR use you for its benefit...you need to accomplish your mission remember" 

"I know..." 

time stood still as he wrapped me in his arms, how I wished that it would last forever then I felt my body fall, it was darkness all over again.
