Comenzar desde el principio

He shook his head, "Nothing is wrong with him, I love him," he answered, "Is he your favorite artist?" He questioned.

"No," I said.

"Who is then?"

"I don't know," I answered honestly, "I listen to too many artists to come to a conclusion." I saw Ryder no in agreement in the corner of my eye, and my eyes fluttered closed as Bruno started singing.

Easy come, easy go
That's just how you live
Oh take, take, take it all but you never give
Should've known you was trouble from the first kiss
Had your eyes wide open

I felt myself start to sing to the beautiful song, the meaning behind the lyrics pulling at my heart. Not in a relating way, but in an understanding way.

I opened my eyes, and I turned to Ryder, and my eyes widened a bit in shock when I saw his own eyes were closed and he was humming gently to the music.

I guess I stared at him for too long because Ryder froze. He raced up from his place on the ground, the earbud getting ripped out of his ear. He looked to the left and then to the right his expression alarmed.

"Ryder?" I asked I looked up at him. My eyebrows furrowed at his actions. "What's wrong? Why'd you stop?" I questioned.

"Shut up!" He yelled, I flinched at his tone, but I obliged.

I shivered from the cold air. The clouds then made a loud rumble and I flinched again. My breath hitched in my throat as I realized what was happening.

I shivered more as the rain started to drop down on my cold body.

A blast of lightning stormed down on the ground, and I flinched. Letting out a small yelp.

A thunder and lightning storm was starting.

I thought the storm was supposed to be tomorrow.

I wasn't prepared for the storm today, as I was wearing thin jeans and a white t-shirt. I thought today was supposed to be a normal spring day, but in fact, it was yet another stormy day.

I hated to admit it, but I feared thunder and lightning storms. I never adapted well to loud sounds and cold air.

I started to panic, I didn't know how I was going to get home without having a panic attack.

A warm and thick piece of cloth then draped over my head, cutting me loose from my thoughts. I looked up and saw that Ryder took his hoodie off, and lent it to me.

I was shocked, who knew that the bad boy, that gave everyone the cold shoulder would give me his hoodie. He willingly took off his hoodie and gave it to me. Willingly.

I shook the warm fuzzy feeling in my stomach and put the hoodie over my head.

"Uh... thanks," I mumbled awkwardly, I was still shocked about it. But it wore off after some time. I cleared my throat and looked back up at Ryder. "Is there a reason why you're so alarmed?" I asked loudly.

"I said shut up!" He yelled again. My eyes narrowed. I stood up and stood in front of him and jabbed my finger in Ryder's chest.

"Listen here Ryder I know I'm annoying, but I don't think you should yell at me to shut up." I clarified for him.

I was about to say something to him again. But I was interrupted when more lightning blasted in the distance.

I jumped out of fright. Shit. I gulped down the lump in my throat and looked back at him with stern eyes.

"Pl-" I was interrupted again by the lighting, and I jumped again, and my body started shaking from fear.

It was so loud.

"I'm gonna go," I squeaked out. Before Ryder could say anything, I ran out from the back of the school, my blush not dying down.

Another lightning strike came down, and my shoulder tensed.

One thing I forgot to give back to Ryder though, was his hoodie.
