Chapter 7

Erika was waking to the cafeteria when a poster caught Erika's attention.

Beginning of the year Dance for Sophomores, need volunteers to help plan it. Come to my office to sign up

Erika smiled and walked to the office.

She walked into the Principal's office.

"Hi Principal Lee." Erika said.

"Hello Erika. What brings u here?" Lee asked smiling at her.

"I saw he poster for the sophomore dance. And I wanted to volunteer to help plan it." Erika said.

"I'll put u in. U can be in charge." Lee said.

"Thank u! I'll make this perfect" Erika said and walked out.

Erika was hoping to hang with Zed for lunch, without anyone noticing.

Zed thought Erika was avoiding him. For a reason.

Zed walked into the cafeteria and saw Erika sit at an empty table.

Zed got his lunch and started walking towards her.

Erika looked at Zed and smiled.

"Erika!" Zeke called.

Erika looked at Zeke and sighed.

She got up and sat over at his table.

Zed's eyes shot with sadness.

He just walked over to Eliza and Bonzo.

"What's up with u and Erika?" Eliza asked.

"Idk. She's avoiding me." Zed said.

"This is why I'm not with anyone" Eliza said taking a bite out of her sandwich.

"Pep rally! Srry we are late. Someone wasn't cooperating" Bucky yelled looking at Erika.

"Let's go!" Bucky yelled.

Everyone went to the gym.

The cheer squad started cheering.

"Whoo! Erika!" Zeke yelled clapping.

Zed looked at him and glared.

"U are amazing Erika!" Zed yelled even louder.

Zeke and Zed looked at each other glaring.

"Erika! U are the best!" Zeke yelled.

"That's my girlfriend! She is the best of the best! U are doing so great sweet cakes" Zed yelled.

Zeke glared at Zed.

Erika noticed the two.

At first she was smiling.

But when she realized they were fighting, she stopped smiling.

Erika was thrown in the air and saw the Aceys going to go get something.

They came back without anyone noticing.

They were in the back waiting for the finish.

When it finished the Aceys went to the front holding up a huge poster.

Bucky then went to the front smiling.

Everyone in the crowd awed.

Bucky was holding flowers.

The poster said: "Eliza will u go out with me?"

Bucky looked at Eliza.

Eliza was in shock.

"Please say yes" Bucky mouthed.

Eliza went down to Bucky.

Eliza looked around at the cheer team and looked back at Bucky.

She smiled.

"Yes." She answered.

The crowd cheered.

Bucky smiled and the two hugged.

He handed Eliza the flowers.

Erika smiled at the two.

Everyone went out the gym.

Except Zed and Erika.

"Hi" Zed said.

Before Erika could reply Zeke and Bucky came in.

"Zeke get out. I can call her myself" Bucky said.

The two walked over to her.

"Come on Cuz. We got family game night tonight" Bucky said.

"Yea. And I was invited" Zeke said.

"Sadly" Bucky mumbled.

"But we have to go" Bucky said.

"Ok" Erika said.

The three walked out and Zed sighed.

The three made it to Erika's house.

"Family game night. Family game night" Bucky sang as he walked into the house.

"Just about time we were just about to start" Bucky's mom said.

Zed wanted to go see Erika. But he couldn't so he just watched from the window, hoping Erika would spot him.

Zeke and Erika were making jokes the whole time.

When it was a game for teams as pairs, Zeke and Erika partnered up.

Zeke put his arm around Erika.

The two looked at each other and smiled.

Zeke made a joke making Erika laugh.

Zed's whole body filled with sadness.

Zed walked away.

Erika looked at the window with a feeling someone was there.

But no one was.

"What is it?" Zeke asked.

Erika continued to look at the window.

"Um... nothing. I thought someone was there. But no one is" Erika said.

"Let's get back to the game" Erika smiled at everyone.
