CHAPTER 36

Kyle's POV

I blocked my phone number, I locked my room and dropped the keys with the admin, I took my luggage and went to the back of the building where Thomas was waiting for me, with the jet plane, I got in and then he got into the pilot's seat, then we moved, but before we did, I looked down, to see the school I've been for two straight years without even thinking or missing home, the only person I missed at home was Arabella Kingston, I missed her a lot, and so am I going to miss Kendra June Tiara too...

Why is life too unfair to me... Why is it that I have to leave the people I loved at the most crucial times?

I was looking directly at the window of our math classroom, I saw her sitting at the window, her dark brown hair showed clearly from where I was... And we moved, as we did, we soared higher into the clouds where nothing was visible, and this jet plane was 800,000 times faster than light and sound, so within minutes or at most an hour, we will get to Denmark...

I looked at theback of Thomas' head and then I rested my head backwards, I played don't let me down on my headphones and drifted to sleep slowly, all I could picture was Kendra...

"Eddy, wake up man, you're home" I heard Thomas say to me and I opened my eyes, it felt like a 2 minute sleep, I walked down the jet plane, Thomas walked behind me with my luggage and then, I walked into the mansion

The door was held open by the door guards as I walked in, they gave slight bows and I nodded, I walked to the living room to see mom reading a book, I just stood there watching her, immediately she took notice of my presence, she stood up and said

"Edward, you're here." She said and walked to me, gave me cheek kisses and stepped back as I began saying

"Yes mother, I am here, and can you please tell me the reason you called me here? Because by the looks of everything, nothing seems to be wrong here, and I certainly do not like it here if that was already obvious, I would be glad" Her facial structures were still the same as I remembered, and she hardened her face as she spoke

"Edward, no greetings to your mother? Just a speech of your annoyance? That is not the etiquette I taught you my son." She said

And I just nodded and went to my room upstairs, I took the elevator and got there, the highest floor, as I got there, I went directly to the balcony and took out my phone, looked at Kendra's picture, and sighed, I wished she was here with me, then I wouldn't have been so edgy, but mom being mom, would certainly not allow that, she'd claim that Kendra is just a commoner and that she is not suitable for me, pssht I doubt that, I choose who i love not her, she doesn't control my feelings...

"Ughrr... I need to stop over thinking.'' I said to myself and went back into my room and laid down on my bed

I slept for about three hours, when there was a small knock at my door

When I opened, it was a maid I didn't know, I had taken off my shirt during my sleep, so she was basically kinda speechless and was stuttering when she tried speaking

"Uh... Uhm... Ah... The... Food is uh... Ready?" Sounded more like a question than a statement to me, I just smiled and said

"Okay thanks" and I think just that small sentence got her, she blushed furiously and closed the door quickly and left.

I put on a sweatshirt and went out for dinner

As I reached the dining room, I saw mom, dad, Daniella, and someone else I didn't know, I smiled at all of them politely as I sat down

Few minutes later, Arabella joined us, my cutie pie, one of the only girls I could stare at for hours without blinking, she was busy talking with her friend and she didn't seem to care that people were in the room, at least not until she sat down, she decided to look around when her friend asked her who I was with eye gestures which I interpreted as
'Ooowhoo, who's this hot piece of cake?'

As soon as her eyes hit me, I broke out a grin, and she screamed

"Ahhhhhhh!!! Oh my God!! Eddie! I missed you so much, how was England? How was your stay? Oh my Gosh your hair looks longer than before, to be honest, You look hotter than before, I mean you were hot before but now, you're just too stunning!" She said with her high pitched voice, while she still hugged me

"Thanks baby, you've grown bigger too, I mean look at you! You're already a woman, Ari you have no idea how much I missed you." I said and hugged her back

"Awwwn... Thank you big brother."

"You are very much welcomed little sister, you are twelve now right?" I asked her

"Oh! Yeah, my b.day was so boring cause you were not around" she laughed as she went back to her seat

I missed Ari so much, my little sister that looked like a beautiful rose flower as always

We began eating and mom out of all people had to speak,

"So Edward, how was your trip to the UK?"

"It was good, thank you" I replied not wanting more questions

"Ohh... That must have been so much fun," Daniella said and I nodded

"So Edward what are your plans for you and Daniella's wedding when you take over the throne from your father?" My mom asked me, seriously? She decided to bring that up here? You see, Daniella is older than I am with four good years, that is one reason I wouldn't want to marry her, number two, I'm still s
Eighteen, I can't get married yet, and number three, I don't love Daniella at all, not even a tinny Winny bit. I have to say the truth then.

"I have no plans for wedding Daniella." I said plainly and continued eating

"Oh... Don't joke about such a crucial topic, you know you will marry Daniella and that is final!" She raised her voice at me

"Oh please mother!! I am sick and tired of you pushing me to get married to Daniella, and you already know the truth! I do not love her! What is in that statement that you just cannot understand?! I love someone else and you just made me leave her alone without a trace and she cannot find me! honestly mother, why don't you stop making decisions for me, because they always end up as huge disasters! Besides I'm just eighteen, I'm not going to get married anytime soon. I am tired of all this, please mother, just leave me alone, I need to be alone!" I exploded, I've held this in for years, she trying to make me love Daniella was just too annoying, like she owned my life and all.

I stood up from the table and said "I have to leave, I am truly sorry but, I've lost my appetite." I said and walked to the elevator, the maid that I had seen earlier was staring wide eyed at me, but then looked down when she caught my eyes.

She looked young though, not like all the other maids here that we're above thirty...

I went to my room.
