Chris didn't know where to go. He had to find out where he lived, but he didn't know where anyone in this realm lived. He could go to Clary's old house, he supposed she lived there in this reality. But would Clary's mom know where he lived. Probably not.

Clary had told him that she was been in Central Park, so he could go there and hopefully his friends would still be there. But then again, what if they weren't and he just wasted his time sitting around in Central Park until Alec finally decided to come find him.

But Chris had no other choice. So he made his way towards the park. This world was so bright, like the sun was illuminated and everything was happier. Everything felt happier. People walked around him, laughing with their children, holding hands with their husband or wife, laughing at inside jokes. Chris felt a splurge of happiness. He continued to walk, kicking a few leaves out of his way as he thought about Alec. His boyfriend.

He thought about their first date, about the way Alec had struggled to hold his hand and so Chris had had to make all the first moves. His fingers had slipped so easily through Alec's that the thought of it made him smile now. He remembered how he had kissed Alec as the rain had fallen around them that night, right in the middle of Central Park.

Suddenly his phone chimed, and Chris was brought back to his reality. He had been so caught up thinking about Alec that he had started to get lost in this AU Chris' memories, meaning that he was losing himself to this Alternative Universe. He needed to remember that this was not his life, and he had to go home. Despite the fact that those memories seemed amazing.

Chris pulled his phone out of his back pocket, noticing the text from Clary. It was an address, and then she sent another text. Apparently, it was the address to the flat that he and Alec shared. He shared an apartment with Alec? Could this Alternative Universe get any better? Maybe he could have stayed, that would be much better. But he knew he couldn't. He knew he would have to go home soon.

First though, he wanted to see this AU Alec. Hopefully he was still as hot as the Alec that he knew because it was Alec's personality that had really drawn in Chris - the structure of his face was a huge factor don't get him wrong - there was just something about the way he made him feel.

Chris stopped in front of the apartment building. It was basically a house that had been converted into four apartments, and it was old. Like Victorian old. Chris didn't even think buildings had been built in New York back then. But then again, the first time Chris had visited New York was 50 years ago, so what did he know?
