Light of Your Life-Castiel

"You should have seen the mobs. People were going absolutely for this new treat. At the time they only had vanilla milkshakes but still, people were desperate for it." explains Castiel

"It reminded me of when we get to that mall after Thanksgiving." adds Castiel looking down at you

"You mean when we went to Black Friday?" You question with a raised brow

"Yes, when we went to that." answers Castiel with a nod as you rest your head on your shoulder moving closer to the angel

"You would have found it funny. I wish you could have been there." says Castiel looking down at you as you look up at him

"Me too, it would have been really cool to see you in your 1920s clothes. I bet you looked hot." You say with a wiggle of your brows that made Castiel blush and get slightly flustered

"You always look super hot." speaks Cas bluntly without thinking really, that only made his blush deepen once he realizes what he said

You only laughed softly as you leaned up to press a quick, sweet kiss to Castiel's cheek.

"Thanks baby. You always seem to look hot in your trench coat." You comment with a huge grin

"Thank you, I like my trench coat very much as well." compliments Castiel with a proud look that made you hold in a laugh

He really does love that tan colored thing. You think finding that one part of Castiel extremely adorable even for him

Castiel swings your hand's back and forth while the two of you continue down the street until some wet drops on your head.

"Is it-" you start to say until you get your answer when the rain starts pouring down on you

"It's raining." says Castiel as an upset look starts to form on his handsome face

Cas was having a fun time with you taking a small scroll and he thought that the rain had ruined that.

"It's raining!" You cheer excitedly as a grin takes over your face making Cas perplexed

"That's a good thing?" asks Castiel confused making you laugh as you lift your head off of Castiel's shoulder

"Yeah, because we do that cheesy romantic thing of dancing and kissing in the rain." You answer as you beam happily at him

"That sounds fun." said Castiel with a tiny smile which for him is a big one

You giggle thinking this is sort of dorky but still you want to partake in this activity. You drag Castiel to the empty road with rain still pouring down on the two of you.

Castiel lifts up the hand that holds yours up while his other hand rests on your hip while your free hand moves up to rest on Cas's strong shoulder. You look into Castiel's vibrant blue eyes as the two of you sway in the middle of the road. Both of you staying silent but's a peaceful one not one of awkwardness.

You lean up and press your lips softly, sweetly to his. You pull away a little bit later resting your forehead against his.

"I love you." You breathe out with a playful grin

"I love you as well." happily says Cas before he presses his lips to yours in a more passionate kiss

You wake up from the dream with tears in your eyes and a soft smile on your face. Even though the dream was a nightmare it still stung like one. That night actually happened so it was you actually dreaming of a memory. It hurt because you knew you would never any more memories of him. That you wouldn't get to hear Cas say I love you again and you would never feel his lips on yours again. Life without your Cas seems dull, boring, and lightless especially compared to your life with Cas that was filled with happiness, light, and seemingly never-ending excitement.
