[Chapter 30]

"Jungkook!? Is our baby okay?!" - Chaeyeon

Jungkook then looks up at her as tears were filled in his eyes. Right then, Chaeyeon finally knew the answer. She didn't have to hear his words, just seeing tears in his eyes, she knew his answer. Chaeyeon shook her head in denial.

"No. It's not true. Tell me it's not true." - Chaeyeon

"I'm sorry Chaeyeon." - Jungkook

Tears streamed down Chaeyeon's face as she sobs louder than before.

"You're lying. You're lying!" - Chaeyeon

Chaeyeon struggles to get her hands away from Jungkook's hold as he held onto them tightly.

"Don't do this Chaeyeon." - Jungkook

"You're lying to me!" - Chaeyeon

Chaeyeon screamed in agony as she struggles even harder than before. Jungkook stood up from his seat and held onto her body against his chest, trying to calm her down.

"I'm sorry ... for not being able to protect you and our baby." - Jungkook

Chaeyeon sobs in his arms as Jungkook did the same.

Flashback End

Jungkook came in walking along with Yoongi and Aunt Jiyoung still in their hospital gowns. Chaeyeon continue to look out the window that was currently raining heavily. Jungkook walks up to her and sat behind her, giving her a back hug. Jungkook then whispered gently to her ear.

"You have to eat something Chaeyeon-ah or you statement will get worse." - Jungkook

Chaeyeon wipes away her tears and turns to look at Jungkook with red swollen eyes. Jungkook felt torment in his heart as he held onto her cheek.

"Eat something okay. For me." - Jungkook

Chaeyeon kept silent as she slowly nodded her head without arguing. Jungkook gave her a sad smile as he held onto her and helps her walk to her bed, laid her down on the bed with her back leaning against the headboard, as he fed her taking care of her even more than before. Yoongi and Aunt Jiyoung looks at Jungkook feeding Chaeyeon in silent as they mourn at their lost.

Mrs. Jeon then came into the room and patted Yoongi and Aunt Jiyoung giving them signal to come out of the room. Yoongi and Aunt Jiyoung looks at one another in confusion as they followed Mrs. Jeon out the room and into the hallway.

"What is it, Mrs. Jeon?" - Yoongi

"I found out from one of the maids from Jungkook's house and they said that it was RyuJin who put the poison in the soup that day." - Mrs. Jeon

"What? Why?" - Aunt Jiyoung

Mrs. Jeon shrugged her shoulder as Yoongi was putting pieces together.

"It can't be RyuJin. She's always been helping us. She wouldn't do that to Chaeyeon and Jungkook." - Aunt Jiyoung

"No, think about it. While the few days of Chaeyeon being in the hospital she wasn't seen any where and out of nowhere, she came back. Do you remember when she was acting weird during when we were having dinner and you and me asked her to stay over for the night?" - Yoongi

Aunt Jiyoung nodded her head.

"She stayed over and the next morning she went missing. Chaeyeon, you, and I ate breakfast and got sick. While I was looking for her upstairs she wasn't there in her room. It's like she didn't even stayed over at all." - Yoongi

Aunt Jiyoung shook her head as she lets out a sigh.

"We need to call the police. This is murder." - Mrs. Jeon

"But first, we need to find her." - Yoongi

Mrs. Jeon nodded her head.

"But Jungkook and Chaeyeon cannot know what RyuJin did. They're not ready to know about this yet. If they know that the closets person they trust most was the cause of their loss, it would be ugly to witness the scene." - Aunt Jiyoung

Yoongi and Mrs. Jeon nods their head in agreement as Mrs. Jeon dialed the police for investigation.
