[Chapter 20]

Yoongi was getting the food ready when he looked over to where Chaeyeon was. She was sleeping soundless on the couch as a smile was placed on his face. When the food was ready to eat, he walked over to her and gently shook her.

Chaeyeon slowly opens her eyes as her eyesight adjust to the lightings. When her vision was clear, Yoongi was already in front of her.

"Come on. Food is ready." - Yoongi

Chaeyeon gave a small smile as she nodded her head.

After a small dinner, Chaeyeon was taking care of Mrs. Min while Yoongi was cleaning up. Just right after when they were done cleaning and helping Mrs. Min, the door opened up, only to see Sejun walking in. Chaeyeon's eyes soften seeing her own father right before her eyes.

"What are you doing here?" - Chaeyeon

Sejun didn't know what to say while he saw Yoongi staring at him, putting a shield in front of him incase something happens.

"I came to see Haru." - Sejun

"Aren't you 8 years late for that?" - Chaeyeon

"I know what I did 8 years ago was wrong but what else can I do, Chaeyeon-ah? If you were in my shoes, you wouldn't know what to do either." - Sejun

One tear came trekking down Chaeyeon's cheek as she quickly wipe it away.

"Actually ... I know how it feels. How you have to leave your love ones behind for their own good. For their own future." - Chaeyeon

"I heard about what happened between you and Jungkook." - Sejun

"Please. Don't speak about him." - Chaeyeon

Yoongi then walked up to them and stood beside Chaeyeon.

"Uncle Sejun. If you're here to see Aunt Haru then maybe you should do it quickly." - Yoongi

Sejun sighed as he walks closer to Haru and held onto her hand. His unexpected actions made Chaeyeon and Yoongi soft. He landed a kiss on her forehead as his tears streamed down his face and landed on Haru's cheek.

"I'm sorry. I should've stayed with you until death do us apart but that was my very own fault. If I didn't fall in love with you, if I just control my own heart, you wouldn't be in this state." - Sejun

Chaeyeon heard every word from her father as she turns her head away and continue to sob.

"I came here to make things right, Haru. I will fix everything and make sure that our daughter will have the life that she deserves." - Sejun

Chaeyeon's eyes awe as she turns her head back only to see her father giving her a soft stare. Sejun then walk over to Chaeyeon and held onto both of her hands.

"I didn't just come and see Haru, Chaeyeon. I came to bring my family back. I came to make things right between our family." - Sejun

Tears constantly to trekked down as Chaeyeon carefully listens to her father.

"Ever since I left you and your mom, not one day past without me missing the both of you. Not one day past without me always trying to find a way for us to be together again as a family." - Sejun

Chaeyeon suddenly hugged him as Sejun's eyes widen at her sudden action. A smile was pasted on his face as he gently hugged her back for the first time in 8 years. Yoongi smiles at the father and daughter moment.

"Mom would've been happy hearing what you just said to me." - Chaeyeon

Sejun chuckled.

"I know she would." - Sejun
