As long as she remembered, they were always here. They were always with her, guiding her. They weren't human nor ghosts. They were spirits, spirits that could talk and move freely. Spirits that had powers.
If someone hit her, they will take her place and kill that person.
If someone talked bad to her, the sharpest tongue will take her place and make the other person vomit blood.
They were always here for her, they protected her.
And yet she used her to become rich. But that wasn't her fault and they understood it because if they were in her shoes, they would do worst. When they were once poor, they did worse things so how could they accuse her?
That why they let her use their memories and powers, because they just wanted to end it.
They wanted to close their eyes and never open them again.
