Namjoon didn't sleep much that night. What was he thinking?! Taking in another person into his home, his job wasn't steady enough for this. He pulled at his hair to punish himself for making such a thoughtless decision. It's not like he regrets it, he actually really likes Gu, he just hates himself for not thinking this through before doing this.

What is the younger to him? His adopted son? N-no, Namjoon was too young to have a son. Let's go with new roommate... Yeah, sounds better.

He looked towards the bedroom door. On the other side of that door was his living room and in his living room was Gu, asleep on his couch. He decided to stop dealing with this on his own and picked up his phone to dial up his friend. He answered just before the final ring.

"Namjoon-ah, it's late. What do you want?" Hoseok's groggy voice mumbled out.

"Hyung, I feel like I didn't think this through enough." He trailed off, sitting up in his bed.

"I tried to tell you bu-"

"My income isn't enough for another person." He interrupted his friend. His head was so filled with problems that he could barely even hear Hoseok speak.

"Try to bribe your boss into give you a raise or something. You did adopt an orphan after all." Hoseok sighed from the other side.

The line went quiet for a little bit, Hoseok nearly falling back to sleep from the silence but quickly sprouting away when Namjoon spoke again.

"Why did you let me do this?"

"I tried to stop you." Hoseok chuckled. He knew his friend had messed up and now he had to face the consequences.

"What do I do? I have work tomorrow. Do I just leave him here? What if he wanders out and gets lost. What if he gets scared and trashes my house. Hyung helpp~!" Namjoon panicked more, his mind going wild with possibilities.

"Calm down. Just call in sick or something and spend the day with him. It's the smartest thing to do if you don't want him trashing your place. Also I doubt he'll wander out, did you see that kid? He's clearly terrified of the world." Hoseok guided him with a couple chuckles here and there to keep the mood light before Namjoon's thoughts had finally calmed down. "Are you okay now? Can I go back to bed?" The elder asked.

"Yeah. Thanks, goodnight hyung." Namjoon smiled before Hoseok hung up. And at that, Namjoon rose from his bed to go check on Gu.
