Chapter 1- A New Assignment

( Y/n)'s P.O.V.

"Annnddddd done!" I said as I cracked my knuckles. "Thank the lord, my fingers are about to fall off." I looked over to Luciel, "How's it going?" I asked Luciel.

"Almost.... Done...." he said as he continued to type. I leaned backwards and flopped back on Luciel's bed.
It had been about eight months since I'd joined the agency. Luciel and I had become very close. We would often hang out and do our assignments in each other's rooms just so we could have some company while we slaved away at our work.
I hopped off of hid bed and walked over to his desk to check out what he was doing.

"I wish we could get a break. Even if it's just one day."

"You can say that again." Luciel said as he continued to type away.

"Maybe after you finish we can go see the boss and as if we could take one day off."

"Pffhhh, like that would ever happen."

"There's no harm in trying. What's the worst that could happen?"

"He kills us."

"... On second thought maybe not." Luciel chuckled at my comment. I sighed and walked back over to Luciel's bed. I flopped face first into the sheets and sighed.

I'm so freaking tired it's unbelievable. I thought to myself as I shut my eyes. I felt myself start to dose off when something tapped my shoulder.

"Come on, don't fall asleep on me yet." Luciel said.

"But I don't want to get up." I said, my voice muffled from my face being shoved into the mattress.

"How about we head on over to the cafeteria, then we could grab some food and come back here."

"Hmmmm...."

Food... Sleep.... Food..... Sleep.... Food... Food. I sat up.

"Fine." I said. Luciel chucked and reached his hand out to me. I too his hand and he pulled me up off of the bed with relative ease. "Let's go before Vanderwood c--"

"--omes." both of us sighed as we heard the knocking.

"Maybe if we ignore it he'll go away." I said.

"AGENT 707 AND 404 OPEN THIS DOOR RIGHT NOW! I KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE!" Neither of us spoke hoping he would just go away. "IF YOU DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR I WILL BREAK THIS DOOR DOWN!"

"Fine." Luciel said as he walked to the door.

As Luciel reached for the door it all of a sudden swung open smacking him square in the face.

"OWW!" he shouted as he fell backwards clutching his nose. "What was that for!?"

"Next time open it the first time, then something like that won't happen." Vanderwood responded. Saeyoung took his hand off of his nose and looked at it. He then looked at me.
