“LAND! SWEET LAND!” I yelled in the Orlando airport.
“I don’t know you.” Dahvie said walking ahead.
“Fuck you man!” I yelled after him as I grabbed Jayy’s free hand while he was laughing.
We grabbed our bags and headed outside.
“Wait who is picking us up?” I asked.
“My daddy.” Dahvie replied. There was a honk in the distance.
“There he is! DAD!” Dahvie yelled running to him.
“I swear to god if you make me run I will fuckin die this time.” I said. Jayy laughed and kissed my temple as we approached Dahvie’s dad.
“Jayy!” Dahvie’s dad said. Jayy let go of my hand and hugged him. I stood there awkwardly.
“You must be Leslie, I’m Daniel.” He said and hugged me. Dahvie’s so lucky.
“Damn you’re skinny. Jayy please tell me you’re not starving her.” He said putting our bags in the vehicle.
“Fuck no. She eats like a damn cow.” Jayy replied getting in, me after him.
“This is true.” I said.
“Leslie do you have any other songs that’s going to be on your new album?” Dahvie asked. I nodded. He bounced in his seat.
“Sing!” he pleaded. I chuckled and pulled out my laptop.
“Ok this one is called Here We Go Again.” I said and played it.
And here we go again
With all the things we said
And not a minute spent
To think that we'd regret
So we just take it back,
These words and hold our breath
Forget the things we swore we meant
I'll write you just to let you know that I'm alright
Can't say I'm sad to see you go
Cause I'm not. (No, I'm not)
Well, I'm not.
And here we go again
With all the things we did
And now I'm wondering
Just who would I have been
To be the one attached
At all times to your hip?
Forget the things we swore we meant.
I'll write you just to let you know that I'm alright
Can't say I'm sad to see you go
Cause I'm not. (No, I'm not)
Well, I'm not. (No, I'm not)
Oh (No, I'm not)
I'll write you to, to let you know that I'm alright
Can't say I'm sad to see you go
Cause I'm not. (No, I'm not)
Well, I'm not. (No, I'm not)
I'm not, I'm not.
