{Nothing Prettier}

There is nothing
prettier in the
whole wide world
than a girl
in love
with every breath she takes.

I felt myself drifting to sleep as Davids arm was cradling me. He got up off the couch waking me up.
"Ava get up let's go do something." He said
I sat up and stretched.
I held my arms up notifying David that I wanted to be carried.
He walked over to me and picked me up. I wrapped my arms and legs around him. He set me down on the floor.
"No so wanted you to carry me to where you wanted to go." I laughed
"Well I want to go drive around, so I can't carry you that far." He chucked
"Oh." I laughed
"Where are we going?" I asked
"I don't know I just want to drive around and talk about stuff, and the sun is setting so it will be really nice out." He said grabbing my waist and pulling me closer to him.
I wrapped my arms go around his neck.
"Okay lets go." I said cheerily
"You have to kiss me first." He smiled
"Shut up." I giggled releasing myself from his grip and walking towards the door.
He followed me.
"I wanna know more about you." He stated as we were walking to the parking garage.
"Like what?"
"I don't know anything I guess." He said
"Well my real name isn't Ava Davis." I said smirking knowing he would be shocked.
"You're joking right?" He said confused.
"Nope my real name is Andrea Daniels but I hated my name so when I was eighteen I legally changed it to Ava Davis." I explained.
"So you've been lying to me this whole time." He joked
"I guess." I smiled
We made it to the car and started driving around LA.
"Tell me more stuff." He whined
"I'm a very boring person." I laughed
"No you're not, why'd you move to LA?" He asked
"Well first of all Arizona is very boring, and I'm not very fond of my parents, or family for that matter." I said
"Yeah I get that, what made you wanna start YouTube?"
"You're gonna think I'm stupid." I blushed
"I could never think you're stupid."
"I started YouTube because I started watching you when I was sixteen and I wanted to be part of the vlog squad." I laughed
"That's so cool actually." He smiled
"No it's not it's weird."
"Shut up you are so cute." He said intertwining his fingers with mine.
"Tell me about you." I said flipping the focus on him.
"Well I moved here from Chicago because of vine and now I'm here I guess." He explained
"You're so cool." I laughed
We drove in silence for a while. The city lights glared of the windows into my eyes. I was so happy to be in this beautiful city. I snapped out of my daze. 
"David, when was the first time you knew you liked me?" I asked
He paused for a moment
"When you fell asleep on my lap on our way back to my apartment, when I first met you I thought we were just gonna be friends but I started catching feelings for you." He said
"I know you started catching feelings because you kissed me for the first time that night." I blushed
"Oh my god, how did you remember that?" He laughed
"I don't even know." I laughed
"I like you a lot." David said
"I like you too." I said lifting up his hand and kissing it.
After driving around for a couple minutes I started drifting to sleep.
I felt my mind flicker into a dream. I dreamt of a future with David in it. I imagined everything so happy. But would it be that way? Only time could ever tell and I can only hope.
I felt someone nudge my arm to wake me up.
"Ava we're at my house." He said
"Am I sleeping here?" I asked with a yawn
"No I'm making you sleep in my car." He said sarcastically.
"Fine by me." I said laying my head down.
"Get up you dork." He giggled getting out of the car.
I got out of the car and followed David to his front door. We were both exhausted, we opened the front door and went to his bedroom. I plopped down on the bed followed by David who did the same. He cuddled up next to me putting his hand on my waist. Before we knew it we were already dreaming.

9:47am
I woke up. David was still fast asleep next to me. I rubbed my tired eyes and sat up. My feet dangled off the side of my bed. I hopped onto the floor heading to the bathroom. I got to the sink and ran some cool water which I proceeded to wash my face. I smiled to myself at the thought of David and I finally being one another's. I felt David's arm creep around my body and grab my waist. I looked up at his cute sleepy face and messy hair. He smiled at me.
"Morning." He said leaning down and kissing my cheek.
"Morning." I said with a smile
He looked at himself in the mirror.
"Oh my god, I look like I died." He said running his fingers through his hair.
"No you don't." I said wrapping my arms around him.
"I don't even understand how I'm not single." He said with a chuckle
"Shut up, you're so cute." I said
"You're right I am pretty cute." He joked
I slapped his arm lightly.
We walked out to the living room together and sat on the couch. We scrolled on our phones for a little bit. I pondered at what we should to with ourselves and our day.
"Hey later today I'm going to this skateboard place with Zane and Heath you wanna come?" He asked
"No, I haven't had a day to myself in a while and I kinda just want to have a lazy editing day."
"Oh okay, hey fun fact this is the same place that I got a concussion from going down a skate board ramp. I got it on camera too." He laughed
"David I swear to god if you get hurt doing dumb shit, I will kill you." I joked
"I won't I promise." He said smiling
"Knowing you you're gonna try and skate board off a building or some other stupid thing." I laughed
"Ava I won't get hurt okay?" He said
"Fine I believe you, but if you go to the hospital you owe me fifty bucks." I joked
He laughed
"Come here." He said holding his arms out and gesturing me to sit with him.
I smiled and scooted  over to him laying my head on his chest. He draped his arm around me.
