Chapter 2 - Pool Area

Jai's POV

TUMAGILID AKO ng higa at dinamdam ang napakalambot na hinihigaan ko. Mayr'on namang kutson na nakapatong sa papag ko sa apartment, but this normal cottony bed really felt good. I smiled as I stretched my both arms.

"Good morning," I whispered. Well, gusto kong makarinig lagi n'on kahit na galing lang sa boses ko. Am I a weirdo? Thanks. Let's just say that it is my way on welcoming each new day happily and with courage.

Umupo ako sa kama habang dahan-dahang binubuksan ang mga mata ko. The rays of the sun greeted me and it's really good to feel. I smiled when I realized that starting from this day and forward, I'll be waking up this way. Napakagaan at komportable sa pakiramdam.

I looked around the room, it is indeed larger and more appealing in looks than my apartment. Walls are colored by white while the furnitures are colored by either light brown or Khaki I think, and dark brown which look like Sepia. Brown is my favorite color that's why I once studied its shades. Identifying the colors in this room is a piece of a cake.

Tumayo ako at kaagad na naligo. I stared at the uniform which the handsome guy gave me yesterday. It's just a simple black polo with a white lines on the corner of the sleeves and white buttons. Kulay itim din ang skirt na may maliit na telang mistulang naging apron na nakakabit sa harapan.

Tinignan ko ang sarili ko sa isang full-length mirror at bahagyang napangiti. This uniform suits me good. Hindi lang ako komportableng nakasara ang lahat ng butones na pakiramdam ko ay sinasakal ako kaya binuksan ko ang dalawang butones sa itaas. I combed my hair using my fingers. My smile widened after becoming satisfied on how I look.

I'm planning to go back at my apartment this afternoon to get some of my things. Well, if only I would be given a chance. Hindi ko kasi inaasahan na pagiging maid ang mapapasukan kong trabaho at agad pang matatanggap kaya hindi ako nagdala ng gamit.

It's really a big surprise for me, I hope this job will last. At least dito, imposibleng malugi o magsara para mawalan pa ako ng trabaho.

Lumabas ako ng kwarto at hindi napigilang makunot ang noo dahil hindi ko alam kung saan ako liliko para makababa. Hindi ko pa kabisado ang daan. Napakalawak.

Saglit akong napaisip, ano nga bang unang gagawin ko sa bahay na 'to? Sa sobrang dami na ng trabahong napasukan ko, siguro magagawa ko naman ang kahit na ano.

"Bago ka dito? Pwede kang sumabay sa'kin pababa kung sa tingin mo ay naliligaw ka," nakangiting sabi ng babaeng hindi ko napansing sumulpot sa gilid ko. I looked behind her. Napansin kong may corridor pa pala doon at marami pang pintong magkakaharap. Woah, so this place is a fre.king big time mansion.

Tumango na lang ako 'cause you know, I'm not used of talking to others. Hindi ako sanay at ayokong masanay. I'm afraid that someone might be important to me then suddenly, they'll leave because I don't know why and I don't care when. Kaya ko naman ang sarili ko, so why would I bother making connections and attachments?

Kung ano-anong pagliko pa ang ginawa namin bago marating ang ground floor. Wala namang gaanong tao pero bakit napakalaki ng bahay na 'to?

I glanced at each women wearing the same uniform as mine, they all look d.mn busy and I wonder why they are this silent? Parang ingat na ingat sila sa bawat bagay na nililinis nila sa takot na makagawa ito ng ingay o mabasag. Napangiwi ako, they are more weird than me.

On the other side, this silent atmosphere calmed me. Hindi ko kakailanganing kausapin sila, maliban na lang kung wala na akong choice at kailangan ko na talagang magtanong.

"Nagpapatimpla ng orange juice si sir. Ang sabi niya, yung bagong maid daw na dumating kahapon ang gusto niyang magtimpla," nagmamadaling sabi ng isang maliit na babae gamit ang mahinang boses. Mukhang narinig naman ng lahat dahil sa sobrang katahimikan.

They started murmuring which instantly irritates me.

I raised my hand and spoke, "Ako ang maid na tinutukoy niya."

They turn all of they gazes at me. I rolled my eyes. I walked in front of the small woman, ignoring their eyes that were glued on each steps that I make.

"Where's the kitchen?"

I'M CAREFULLY carrying the tray while walking, jeez. This is just a sandwich and an orange juice for Pete's sake, kailangan i-tray pa talaga? N'ong ganito kami kayaman, sinisiguro kong mapupuno ng pagkain ang tray kapag nagpapadala ako n'on sa kwarto ko.

Argh, those old memories were bad to remember, it makes me want to bring the time back which is so impossible. Thinking about it really sucks.

Tinungo ko ang pool area na ikinabisado ko sa pamamagitan ng direction na sinabi ng maliit na babae. So bringing a tray in a pool for I-don't-know-who-the-person-is was the first work that I'll do here. Tsk, easy peasy.

I sighed when I finally saw the glass wall. That's the sign na sinabi ng babae. Kapag daw nakita ko na 'yon, ibig sabihin, tinahak ko ang tamang direksyon patungo sa pool area. My sight in the area became wider and clearer while I'm walking nearer and nearer towards it. I stopped for a moment because of amusement.

Mas maganda ang pool namin dito pero h.ck, after so many years, ngayon lang uli ako nakakita ng pool! It excites me to the point that I just want to run and jump into the water. I miss swimming!

I did everything I can just to stop myself from doing what I'm thinking. First day ko pa lang dito ay gagawa na agad ako ng bagay na hindi naman karapat-dapat? I sighed, h'wag na.

The pool area is really nice not until an image of a muscular man suddenly entered my vision. My jaw dropped when I saw the handsome guy who I just talked yesterday. So, he's the boss? Why I did I not even realized it?

Humawak siya sa magkabilang handle ng pool at walang kahirap-hirap na inangat ang sarili.

I want to turn my back at him, I want to just close my eyes than to stare at his oh-so-tempting-body but d.mn it, I feel like I froze until he saw me.

Medyo magkalayo kami ngunit ang kakaibang pakiramdam na naihahatid ng titig niya sa'kin ay nandoon pa rin. He strokes his hair backwards slowly which makes him hot even more. A smirk formed at the corner of his lips. H.ck, is he trying to seduce me?

Binigyan ko siya ng masamang titig at buo ang loob na naglakad patungo sa harapan niya. Inilagay ko ang tray sa mesa at dali-daling naglakad palayo.

H.ck, my strength is slowly fading because of the image of his hot body replaying inside my head. I could still feel his stare and I don't like its effect. I badly need to get out in here!

Konting hakbang na lang ay makakalabas na ako. I could even feel the victory, but what the?! May kamay na pumalibot sa baywang ko dahilan para mapaharap ako.

My eyes widened and my heart started pounding abnormally. Sh.t! Nakakailang mura na ba 'ko? Why his presence makes me react this way?

He's wet but all that I could feel was the hot feeling that I'm sure is from his body. I was touching his well-toned chest without realizing, making me gasped for air even more. Nakatitig lang siya sa'kin at mas hinigpitan pa ang hawak sa baywang ko. D.mn, why can't I move? I should be pushing him away!

I could sense his abs touching my tummy and I'm not dumbed to not feel his thing in my legs I could feel that my cheeks are burning!

Just. Sh.t.

Bumaba saglit ang tingin niya sa dibdib ko at agad din na bumalik 'yon sa mga mata ko. Isang pagngisi ang ginawa niya dahilan para magising ang diwa ko at magpumiglas. What the hell? He's a pervert!

"You have a great size of bust and you're such a tease, but try seducing me next time, sweetheart. Maybe, you'll succeed then," sambit niya na ikinapanting ng teinga ko.

Gamit ang natitira kong lakas ay naitulak ko siya at idinuro.

"Jerk!"

I run as fast as I could just to get out in there. What the f.cking hell? Iniisip niya bang inaakit ko siya dahil hindi ko isinara ang dalawang butones ng polo ko? Sino siya para purihin at tignan ang dibdib ko? He's seriously annoying the hell out of me and I hate how I find his words very offensive, what an as.hole! I can't believe what I just encountered, d.mn.
