35. Thought with Darius

Last time

Caitlyn and everyone else (apart from Lily and Cameron) are at a wherehouse where supposedly Fernando is. Carlos speaks to Caitlyn about giving Alec another shot if he protects her on this mission, yet they had to keep it a secret.

C A I T L Y N

"Linny and Lorraine have already breached the security of the warehouse so let's go go go!" Alec whispers to everyone in the dark. At that very moment we were right outside the warehouse right after sunset.

Hiding in a bush.

Wasn't the best place of choice in my opinion but it was the closest we could get towards the enterance.

Hundreds of stars were twinkling across the dark sky. Meanwhile we were all clutching onto our weapons for dear life as we carefully walked squatted across the ground.

"That bush ruined my hair," Charles murmered behind me. To which I responded by calling him a 'Narcissistic bitch'.

We waited for the doors to unlock, but they never did.

"Linny! Lorraine! Whats going on?" Alec whispered through the ear piece he was wearing. "Why aren't the doors opening?"

Alec pauses to hear Lin or Lor's responce, followed by some cursing and shouts "Run!" Getting up and begins to run.

Without another thought, everyone except me dashed as far away from the warehouse as possible.

We were too late, Fernando had probably examined the files and knew everything about Alec and I.

I felt as if I couldn't move, as if someone had taken over my body and forved it to stay. I soon felt my breathing become heavier, like I couldn't breath.

I was drowning, in my own sadness. My own despair. All the negative emotions has filled the bottle within my heart and was now overflowing, slowly drowning me in my sorrows.

He took everything away from me, my parents, my cat... my old self.

By the time I was back into reality, I was in someone's arms. Looking up, I see a breathless Alec running. My heart melted in awe until I looked behind us to see the horror of the warehouse in flames that flickered in the dark.

It was also spreading quickly towards us!

I turn in the direction we were running to. The camp had vanished, instead it replaced with the transport we had taken to the area.

From far away I could barely see a van, and its sliding doors were open. But when getting closer I could see Carlos with his arms open to grab me, Alec handed me to his brother and climbed in after, shutting the door and Aiden stepped on the eccelerator with Delia beside him.

"What did I tell you?" Carlos said to me low voice so Alec wouldn't here. My eyes looked at Alec who was getting checked by Darius.

I turn back to Carlos, "He saved your life. So will you give him a second chance?"

I stayed silent, "I still don't know." I tell Carlos. "He messed me up."

"I know he did, but he also payed for it."

There was silence between the two of us, luckily others were talking so it wasn't as awkward. "Just get some rest, Alec immediently knew you were having a panic attack when your breathing became ragged. Cameron had told him before we left." Carlos moved away from me.

I decided to lay on the floor of the van, my arm supporting my head as a pillow.

My mind began to think, Fernando had won again. He won lots of things; making my life miserable, destroying everything I love, everything I have.

I began humming a song I remember hearing sometime back. A song I use to just sing to without really knowing the meaning behind the lyrics.

I carried on humming the song repetedly for about about 15 minutes. "What are you humming?" Alec asks softly, Darius and Carlos were talking with Delia and Aiden if a bald cat was cute or not as Emma got a new cat.

"It's nothing, just a song."

"Guys, do bald cats have whiskers because if they do then that's hair!" Darius asks us. "But it they don't are they really a cat?"

"Thoughts with Darius!" Aiden shouts while driving.

We all laughed.

"Thats true though, so what are they?" Delia asks.

Before the van then started filling up with smoke.

People might be saying 'About time!' And I agree. I've been gone wayyyy too long.

Anyway HELLO! This may be short and scappy but I wanted everyone to know I'm back!
