Ashton (Age 18): Being 'Ashton Irwin's little sister, you didn't ever show that you enjoyed music too.

You went to college to study photography, but you had been taking a few music courses here and there. You were taking a song writing one right now and you and your friend had to write a song completely (recording, lyrics, melodies everything)

You were emailing a copy of it to your friend because you had been working on it a bit by yourself. On accident, you sent it to both your friend and Ashton (Your friend's name was Ashley) and practically hated yourself.

Ashton being on the other side of the world didn't see it until the next day. He opened it and read what it said, a bit confused

Hey, Ashley.

I've been working on our song a bit and recorded the second verse/chorus. Ignore my awful voice, but here ya go!

Just text me back any advice and I'll fix it next time we're togtherr.

Ashton clicked on the attachment, and your voice flooded the tour bus. (song is Everything You Have by Cimorelli)

"I used to think that beautiful, was looking like a perfect ten. I couldn't see I was good enough, couldn't get past everything they said. More time, more pressure, do everything right. Don't smile, don't care, don't waste your Friday night. Look perfect, stand still, blend in, don't lose the fight."

The other boys had drifted toward where Ashton was sitting upon hearing the song. They stood around and listened for the rest of the song.

"Sometimes it's easy to get carried away, listening to the things that people say. Feeling like nobody's got your back, but everything you need is everything you have. Looking all around, can't you feel the pain? Talking like they know, but they don't know a thing. You can leave tonight, and never look back cause everything you need is everything you have."

Needless to say, Ashton instantly called you, putting you on speaker phone as the boys raged over how 'amazing' the song was and how you needed to release it.

Luke (Age 17):

It was your senior year and your school did these 'senior concerts' where seniors in choir were able to cover songs that meant a lot to them, or write songs or just anything to say goodbye.

You had been writing a song a lot lately, in secret since Luke was home agian. You wanted it to be perfect, and you didn't want Luke to hear it. This was your thing, not his and you didn't need help.

You had left the CD with the recording of you singing on it on the counter as you had to leave quickly one morning. You were giving it to your choir teacher for some pointers on it before the concert.

Luke had come down and found it sitting there just titled 'Give Myself a Try-Y/N Hemmings' and was confused. He put it into the laptop and the MP3 file started to play. (song is Give Myself a Try by Ryan Beatty)

"I looked in the mirror, and realized, I can be the one be the one to change the world, even though it seems impossible sometimes. I'm like maybe, just maybe, even though I'm not first place at the finish line, I still won a prize inside--I tried. And no, I can't do everything, no. I am still gonna try, gonna try my best. But I will do anything, yeah, anything for this dream of mine, yeah. I'm gonna give myself a try. Oh, oh, oh, my aim is to win. So I'm gonna rise. I promise to live till the day I die. I gotta give myself a try."

Luke smiled as he planned out how to bring the song up to you when you got home.

It was amazing, and quite emotional and he was pretty excited to hear you sing it in person.

Calum (Age 15): Since a poetry unit you did in sixth grade, you've always loved writing songs and had been doing it a ton.

You had notebooks filled with papers, and you were working on a new one currently.

You were constantly writing in it, but whenever Cal or your mom came around, you quickly slammed the cover down before anyone could as you about it.

It was more that you were embarrassed about it with Cal being in 5SOS and all. You knew people would think you were trying to steal Cal's spot light, so you kept it to yourself.

Cal had seen the notebooks more than once, and did want to know what was in them, but knew it was better to leave it to you and let you tell him on your own time.

One morning, you were rushing to finish eating and get out to the bus. You were writing a song in the notebook, and the paper was ripped out, so you just slipped it into the front.

You grabbed your bag and rushed out the door, notebook in hand. The paper flew out, and Cal leaned down grabbing it and called your name, but the door was closed and you were gone.

He read the paper, and was surprised to see what was on it. In the top margin of the paper you had written, 'Think Of You'. (song is Think of You by Christina Grimmie)

it's been a while, i should be moved on, cause i shouldn't be writing you this song. haven't crossed my mind for so long, but tonight you're the movie i wanna leave on. not enough rooms in this house, to hold all the treasures we found. evidence of us all around, your finger prints all over, who i am now. ooo, we wished only stars, they were ours they remind me of you. ooo, i'm still letting you go, i just want you to know that i think of you, think of you. i think of you, think of you.

You were writing it about your ex-boyfriend that you had broken up with two months ago, and that was obvious. You had been dating since you were 14, and thought it would last. It didn't.

When you got home that day, Cal asked you about it, which turned into a small fight that ended with you in tears and saying how much you missed him.

Michael (Age 14):

At the end of the year, every year, for the last two weeks, your choir teacher would either assign you a partner or a group to write a song. You hated working in groups or with another person, and asked to do it yourself.

She agreed, under the condition that you'd perform it in front of the class. Basically you had a week and a half to write a song because you'd need to perform it and didn't have choir the last part of the week.

You were writing it and were almost finished. You had left it on the counter one morning as you went upstairs to finish getting ready for the day.

Michael had come down, and found the paper sitting on the counter, and out of curiosity read it. It was titled 'Are You Happy Now?' and instantly he knew it was yours because of the hand writing. ( song is Are You Happy Now? by Megan & Liz)

He started reading it out loud, quietly, "She stood out in the crowd, was a little too loud, but that's why we love her. She's not like other girls, she could've conquered the world, until you broke her down. Are you happy now, that she's on the ground? And do you realize the words you say make bruises that don't fade away? Are you happy now, that you've brought her down? And she's thinking that she won't fit in, cause you said something's wrong with her. Are you happy now?"

When you had come down, Michael was in shock and you instantly saw what he was reading, "Mikey!" You exclaimed, grabbing the paper out of his hands.

He started interrogating you about it and asking if you were bullied.

It took you twenty minutes, but you finally convinced him that it wasn't about you.
