Hello lovely people who read this book! This short story is going to be written by both me and my sister NekoStarDragneel_247! I will have parts 1 and 3 in this book and she will have parts 2 and 4 in her book, so be on the look out for that. This story takes place in Lynx's POV and I do not in any way, shape, or form, own Kitsune Moon! She belongs to my awesome sister! Now, on with the story~

I put the book that I was reading down and let out a long sigh. I did enjoy reading from time to time, but I couldn't focus on the material at all. I had too many things running through my mind, mainly revolving around Kit. The love of my life.

We had been through so much together. How we met was a pretty funny story as well. A smile appeared on my lips as the memories flashed through my mind.

I was young and stupid. I'm glad that she knocked some sense into me. I've already done many things that I regret deeply. I've hurt so many people. She was the one that saved me.

Kitsune Moon.

She was the one who stopped my bad streak and I am forever in debt to her.

A few times throughout our relationship, people have tried to take her from me. During those times, I realized how much I truly care and love her. I couldn't imagine what life would be like without her.

I've talked to a few people who would know about this kind of thing. Haylee, Athena, Ella. They all said the same thing to me, that I should propose to her and ask her to be mine forevermore.

I want to take their advice, but how should I do it? I didn't want it to be boring and cliche. I wanted to do something creative. Something that she would truly like.

I sighed to myself and looked down at the book that was in my hands. It was one that Haylee had told me to read, saying that it was really good. Filled with adventure, twists and turns, along with just a dash of romance. I only had a chapter left and I really enjoyed it.

Kit hasn't read this story yet, has she?

I felt a smile grow on my lips once again.

Perfect.

I knew how to do it now.

I grabbed a stack of neon sticky notes and began to work. I posted one on the end of each chapter. Some were sweet notes, others were a little cheesy, but I was sure that she would like them. Simple things like,

'you're the Annabeth to my Percy'

'you mean the world to me'

'I love you to the moon and back'

'I would fight Ares if it meant to be with you forever'

'I love you more than Percy loves anything blue'

The list went on and I tried to make them relate to the story. Anything that would make her smile. I loved seeing her smile. Even if it was just a little twitch of the corner of the lips. She was like my friend Luna, she didn't show much emotion, so a small smile made me feel accomplished. It showed that she trusted me enough to show me her emotions.

It didn't take very long for me to finish, though I did have to get a little creative with the sticky notes. I closed the book, making sure that the sticky notes weren't sticking out of it. I then stood up and grabbed my coat to hide my wings and slipped it on before stepping outside.

I sent Kit a text, telling her that I found a really good book that she had to read.

'Hello my little Snow Fox. I just finished a really good book that I think you will like. It's on my bed at the moment if you'd like to start reading it. I have to run out and help Athena and Haylee with something, so I might be gone for a while. Feel free to pop in and start reading.'

Once I sent the text, I slipped my phone into my pocket and walked to a jewelry store that I visited very often. There was a woman there who was about in her late 30s. She often helped me and spoke to me whenever I was there and looking at rings for my Snow Fox. The same woman saw me step into the shop and a smile appeared on her lips. "Welcome back, Lynx. What can I help you with?" she asked kindly.

"Hello ma'am. Has the ring I've been looking at been bought?" I responded politely and I saw her chuckle lightly before walking into the back.

"You're in luck, no one has bought it yet. Is today the day? Are you planning on asking her?" She came back out, holding a small black box and she placed it into a bag before walking to the register.

I followed her over to the register and pulled out a wad of cash. "Yes, I figured out the perfect way to do it. I just hope that she accepts it." I answered truthfully with a hopeful smile on my lips. "I'm a little nervous though. I don't want to pressure her if she's not ready."

I handed the money to the woman and she began counting it out. "You've been in this relationship for a long time, haven't you? Well, you mind as well take it a step further. You want her to be yours forever right?" she asked and I nodded my head.

        "Yes, of course."

"Then this is the way to do it. Don't doubt yourself so much." She said, giving me a smile while handing me the box along with some of the money. "Here you are. Good luck Romeo." she said.

I gave her a smile and turned around before beginning to walk out. "Thank you. You know Ella, you really need to work on your disguises."

I heard a whine behind me along with a light chuckle. "What gave it away?" The brown eyed female asked while closing the register.

I turned around and gave her a small smile. "Those mischievous brown eyes of yours. Everything else looks great." I said with a light laugh before walking away. "See you later, El."

"Good luck Lynx!" The fairy called back.

I smiled to myself and quickly ran home as fast as I could, hoping that my Snow Fox was there. I wanted to witness her reaction to the notes and I wanted to be there for the ending one. That way, as soon as she read it, I would be able to pull out the ring and get down on one knee.

I truly hoped that this plan would work.
