TLMR (pt. 12)

Karma was mumbling to himself as he cooked, not yet noticing the pinkette who was standing in the doorway. Neko quickly hid behind the door, occasionally peeking back inside at the humming redhead who was now placing a fish on a cutting board.

"Les Poisson les poisson
How I love les poisson
Love to chop and to serve little fish"

The redhead cut off the poor fish's head and Neko's eyes widened as she bit her lip, trying not to hurl at the sight.

"First I cut off their heads
Then I pull out their bones
Ah mais oui, ça see'est toujours delish"

Karma continued preparing the fish for supper and Neko quickly hid behind the door again, her stomach churning. "Why would people eat the poor fish?" She whispered.

"Les poisson les poisson
Hee hee hee haw haw haw
With a clever I hack them in two
I pull out what's inside
and serve it up fried
God, I love little fishes don't you?"

Neko shivered at the song and slowly peeked back inside, not being able to look away from the redhead inside. Something about him just seemed so...different. Karma turned around, facing the door, giving the girl a full view of his face.

"Here's something for tempting the palate
Prepared in the classic technique
First you pound the fish flat with a mallet
Then you slash through the skin
Give the belly a slice
Then you rub some salt in
'Cause that makes it taste nice"

Neko mentally smacked herself with a shovel before starting to sneak away from the door, but the board under her creaked loudly, making her freeze.

Karma was alerted by the noise and quickly made his way over to the door. He looked out and to the right, spotting Neko immediately.

Smirking, he said, "What brings you to the palace kitchen? I haven't seen you around here before."

The pinkette panicked and quickly stood up while dusting herself off. "I was just...checking to make sure that dinner was done!" She said quickly. 'Great excuse Neko' she thought sarcastically. "And I'm a new servant around here!"

Karma hummed and rose an eyebrow, not fully believing her. "Sure. As for dinner, why don't you have a taste and tell me if it's done?~"

Neko looked at the food, debating on whether or not to take a bite, she was hungry, sure, but eating fish?! It was like eating one of her own!!

Nakamura soon stepped inside, smirking at the two. "Instead of flirting with the servants, why don't you get the food done?" She teased making the two's faces turn a light shade of red.

"Yeah yeah, dinner is done. Go serve it to Nagisa and his new girlfriend." Karma said, handing the blonde three platters.

Nakamura chuckled and walked out with them. "Carry on~" she teased as she brought the meals out to the table.

Before Karma could say anything to Neko, the pinkette ran out of the room, still quite embarrassed by what the blonde had said.

At the table Koro Sensei was talking to Nagisa who was only half listening. Most of the time he was looking at Haylee, trying to place her face. She seemed so familiar to him, yet he just couldn't figure it out.

Koro Sensei noticed this and let out one of his weird laughs before whispering to the bluenette. "Nufufufu~ you know Nagisa, you could ask her out instead of just looking at her."

Nagisa turned red and rubbed the back of his neck while giving him an embarrassed smile. "T-that's r-right." He said before looking at the neko beside him. "H-Haylee would you l-like to look around town with me?" He asked.

Haylee gave him a shy smile and nodded quickly in response while playing with her fingers. 'This is my chance to get close to him!!' She mentally cheered. 'Neko will be happy that we're getting somewhere. I wouldn't be surprised if she and Ella did something while we're on our little date to get us to k-kiss.'

The yellow octopus's face turned pink as Nakamura walked into the room, placing a platter in front of each person which snapped the dirty blonde from her thoughts.

"Well then, it's settled. We'll walk around the town tomorrow." Nagisa said with a kind smile directed towards the hazel eyed girl before looking down at his platter. "Wow. Karma really outdid himself this time." He said, picking up his fork.

"I can't blame him, we've got a special guest that you've been making goo goo eyes at all dinner~" Nakamura teased.

Both Haylee's and Nagisa's faces turned red and they quickly looked down at their plates, Haylee grimacing a bit at what was on it.

"Now now Nakamura, let's leave them alone for now." The cephalopod said. "Let's eat! I'm starving!" He looked down at his plate before his face turned red. "Karma!!!! He gave me less fish than the other two!!!!" He yelled angrily making Nagisa laugh and Haylee give silent giggles at the yellow octopus.
