Dan POV

"Hello Phil!" I said happily, but not too happy. I don't want to be weird or anything. I cracked my knuckles and fixed my hair. I'm pampering myself without trying to again-ughhh.

"Hi Danny boy", he answered, trying to annoy me. I stifled a laugh and covered my mouth. I couldn't help but stare at Phil. His hair was a tangle of fringe, but in the cutest way possible. His blue eyes glimmered from the screen and entrances me. He was also shirtless. He doesn't do that often. Phil must be all ready for bed. He clearly hasn't shaved for a couple of days. There was a bit of scruff happening.

Damn.

He flashed that glorious grin of his.
"I'm so excited for meet you in two weeks," he admitted with a laugh.
I combed a hand through my fringe.
"Me too," I grinned. Phil grinned back.

"I'm sorry Dan, but I have to get up really early in the morning. I gotta go to bed," Phil explained with a hint of sadness in his voice. I shrugged my shoulders.

"I understand. Goodnight Phil," I said. He gave a small wave and hung up. A small part of me broke. I hated saying goodbye. It's the worst part of my day.

I wish I never had to say goodbye.
