Everyday after school I checked the mailbox to see if my license was here yet . And finally after about 2 weeks it was here .

Tomorrow I'm driving to school

I have to take bam to school too because he got his license suspended from a dui .

And he said he usually signs himself out an hour before school lets out so he'd wait in the car until school was out .

I was actually so excited for school tomorrow morning because I couldn't wait to pull up in my car and see everyone surprised when the last junior finally got their car .

I took off my jeans and my sweatshirt and changed into shorts and a tank top . I put the covers all the way up to my chin and closed my eyes

My phone lit up . And it was hella bright
I ignored it

It lit up again and this time it buzzed .

I picked it up and pressed the home button

2 missed calls from Daniel❣️
Daniel❣️: don't ignore me
Daniel❣️: bruh
Daniel❣️: come outside
Daniel❣️: hey
Daniel❣️Kaya

I unlocked my phone and texted him back
Daniel❣️: don't ignore me
                              

                                         What do you want ?
     
Daniel❣️: come out

I turned off my phone , threw off my covers and sat on my bed .
Was whatever he had really worth getting out of bed ?
Probably not .
But I got up anyways
I put on sweats and a hoodie , threw my hair up and walked down the stairs

Bam had fallen asleep on the couch , I walked past him trying not to make the floor creek ,

I gently pulled the door knob and walked out ,

"Daniel ?" I whispered
Somebody come up behind me and put their hand over my mouth

I screamed

I screamed as loud as I could

But whosever hand had muffled my screams

"Shhh dumbass"
Daniels voice smoothed and I stopped screaming

He let go , I turned around just about to hit him and what surprised me more than what just happened was that it wasn't Daniel , it was Jahseh .

"Jahseh ? Daniel ? What the fuck you two ??"

Not only was I pissed off , I looked like a train wreck .

Daniel stood behind Jahseh smiling .
"You set me up you little bastard" I pointed my finger at him
"I cant stand you ugh"
Both him and Jahseh laughed at me .

"We just wanted to come say hi" Daniel walked towards me
"We ?"
"Ouch" Jahseh put his hand on the back of his neck .
"How about you two come around some time normal like 12 pm and not 12 am"
Daniel and Jahseh looked at each other , then at me , and then they laughed .
"Akekeke what's so funny ?"
"You"
"Remember that Jahseh when you need answers in Ms Callahan's"
"Ouuuuu"
"Shut up Daniel . I didn't even know you two knew each other"
"Oh me and Jahseh ? Duh . We've been friends 7th grade when we jumped isiah"

I couldn't really think of anything to say to that so I just blurted out about my license

"Did ya now ? Good job Ki."
Daniel hugged me and I hugged him back tightly .
Jahseh just stood there staring at us
Daniel reached out his arm for Jahseh , and then he hugged us both .

Jahsehs arm wrapped around my entire body , he felt warm and smelled really good . I never wanted him to let go .
