Someone's POV

"Sigurado ka na sa plano mo?" a friend said

"Yes! there is no turning back. I've been waiting for this moment all my life" I replied with a sincere assurance.

"Mawawala ang lahat ng pinaghirapan mo! You are aware of it better than anybody na fifty fifty ang chance of survival mo" pag-aalala niya.

"Trust me on this please! I just need to escape from this prison. I can't take this anymore" maluha-luha kong sabi sakanya. I definitely am aware of the possibility but I can't just let go of this chance.

'Not now, Not anymore!'

Inalis ko ang kamay na nakahawak saakin.

'I'm sorry I have to do this. I'm sorry I have to be selfish this time. Sarili ko na muna, masyado ko nang naibigay ang sarili ko sa kanila'

I can hear the whisper of the crying person behind me. The pain in every sob I hear... telling me not to do it but i know i should...
