Walking on An Empty Street

* I'll be frank, this poem's probably the worst. It'll be edited up whenever I get time *

As i walked

down the empty street

with an open mind

I saw you

And from that day

You became

my inspiration

my destination,

and later.. my mistake...

I was at fault

I never asked you

how you felt bout me

cause I feared...

And then,

before I could make ammends

You left,

taking a different path

And now here I am

Writing this stuff ,

which makes no sense

With no remorse ,

having left my feelings behind

And now I walk,

the empty street

with an open mind

with an open heart

Hoping,

for a better life..

PS-I actually avoid writing poems on love, relationships and stuff. Perhaps I respect it too much too poemize (nice word what do you say?) it, or for other god only knows reason. So hmm this is my first on this topic. And perhaps my last. And as usual would like your comments on it. Thanks
