Another day of watching a new matchmaker leave with tears rolling down her/his face. The young lady who grew up in the kingdom, recognized as a peasant, was waiting with her best friend, Jess, to see who is leaving in tears. They were sitting on the hill eating an apple "Do you think the matchmaker will be crying with no expression or will they have an ugly cry like this,?" Jess made a disgusting sad face and made a loud cry. Y/N laughed at her expression, Jess was one of the few girls next to Y/N who was completely educated better than the teachers at the local school. Most peasants can't even speak a proper sentence. Y/N was deep in thought when Jess said "Look! There comes out the matchmaker." Y/N looked in the direction Jess's eyes were and saw a woman crying, but they could not see her tearful expression. Since she had covered her face in what seemed like a feeling of shame. However, Jess commented saying "She definitely has an ugly cry." Y/N turned to her quickly making her h/l, h/c hair hit Jess. She asked "What makes you think that?" Jess said "First off, stop swaying that weapon you call hair around. It smacked my face. Second, I know it's an ugly because you can hear her sobs from here." Y/N laughed and said "I'm so sorry." Jess shrugged and said "It's fine," Jess soon said "Hey!" Y/N said "Oh no, I know that tone what do you have in mind?" Jess said "Ok hear me out, buuuut" Y/N nodded signaling Jess to go on. "Buuuut, what if you were to work as the matchmaker? I mean, you are the town's best matchmaker." Y/N laughed and looked down slightly, shaking her head in the process. She said "Well that's because I am the ONLY matchmaker in the town." Jess shrugged and said "I don't know, you are pretty damn good at what you do. As well as you being the master of the arts." Y/N laughed and stood up getting out of her sitting position, Jess followed.
Y/N stated "You know you're good at the arts too." Jess replied "Yeah, but you are gifted to do it all, I'm just someone who works with wood, and makes art from it." Y/N and Jess made their way back to the main, lively part of town. Jess said "We got some time to check out the stores, and then we can head to our little shop." Y/N and Jess own an art store, with handmade sketches, paintings, carvings, and etcetera. Y/N has a private office where she can take clients and find their "perfect" lover. Perfect in quotations because she knows there will be ups and downs but which relationship doesn't have that? She just knows that the couple will get out stronger from those hardships. Jess began to take the lead and ran towards the clothing store, Y/N followed her, her simple, yet intricate handmade dress slightly flowing as she ran. Jess was already inside when Y/N had finally caught up. Jess was laughing and chatting with the familiar worker. The young, short lady turned towards Y/N and waved she said "Hello~!" Y/N walked over and said "Hi Sofia." Sofia smiled and asked "Need something?" Jess said "I just wanted a dress, Y/N?" Jess turned her head to look at her, knowing she wanted wanted something. Y/N said "I would love new pajamas, pure cotton with a simple print." Sofia said "They broke?!" Y/N shook her head and said "No, but you never gave me a set of pajamas with shorts." Sofia nodded and said "Ok, go to the back and, um.Well, not sure who is on shift right now but, someone will measure you." Jess commented "Sofia, you have been getting better with your dialogue!" Sofia shyly turned her head to the side and said "Yes, well, um I have been reading and watching a lot of films with the proper, di-a-logue." Sofia pronounced the word in syllables to help her learn faster and better. "Also, Leah has been teaching me." The two girls giggled "Ahh of course she IS the book worm after all; she taught Y/N and myself to speak this way too." Sofia nodded and Y/N walked towards the back, Leah was sitting there observing each cloth to find the perfect one. Y/N spoke up, "*Ahem* Hello." Leah looked in the direction of the voice "Oh, Hello! What do you need? Measurements? Pick up? Someone to talk to?" Y/N shook her head and said "No, I just need measurements done." Leah nodded and asked "Pajamas?" She sighed and nodded shamefully. Leah laughed and asked "Shorts?" Y/N looked at her shocked, and she nodded still in awe. Leah said "I am not a mind reader they have just been on high demand because of the weather getting hotter."

The girls opened up their shop after their measurements were done. Immediately people began to flow in, half for the artwork and the other half for Y/N's matchmaking ability. Amongst the half of people for the artwork was Kelley. She came up to Jess and asked "Jess, did you make the tribal arrow?" Jess nodded and pulled out a cut piece of wood that had an arrow burned into it. Jess said "Your total is...." She was distracted by the royal guards who had entered. Kelley stepped to the side and many more also cleared the path towards Jess. The guards approached Jess and between them was the king. The guards faces stern and intimidating they were about to speak when the king held his hand up. The king spoke "I have heard there is a matchmaker who is the best within the kingdom. Her name Y/N L/N." Jess spoke "Yes, she is the best matchmaker, I, however am not her. I merely am her friend. She is in her office. I shall go get her." Jess stepped away from her counter and walked towards Y/N's office. She opened the door and said "Pardon me for interrupting but, the king is here and he wants to see you." Y/N's e/c pools that are called eyes widen in shock and she rose up following her out, she soon was face to face with the king. Y/N bowed and said "Good morning your highness. You called to see me?"
