We used to be strangers sitting on different seat
But we're both holding a book instead of a human hand
And we both glance at each other out of habit
That's when the time starts to fall in our time sand
Just a mere glance takes my doubts away
I forgot that I have to read the book that I'm holding
I didn't expect that glancing will be able to change some of our days
We both put down the book so we can tie our string
It felt surreal to have string tied to someone
Everything felt right when I saw you smiled
I forgot that there will always be a span
Despite of span I still walk with you towards the wild
We walk and walk and walk
Until I felt you stiffened
That's when I realized we need to talk
Based upon seeing a string tied to you from your other friends
I continue to walk before speaking
And I was surprised when you didn't follow me
I felt that what we had will turn to nothing
All sands had fallen, it's the time for our friendship to sink in the sea
They need you but I need you more
But pulling you by my side is something that I can't do
Even I don't want to leave I have to pretend that I don't care anymore
Because I have nothing compare to what they can give to you
I used to be a stranger sitting quietly with nothing to hold unto
Now I'm not, I even have to teach myself to get used of the feeling without you
