Soohyun and I got to know each other at a our dance practice room for the rest of the episode. We will meet here, and practice for our performances. I was so glad she chose me. I felt so honoured, I mean.. out of all idols, ME. What?!

After our performance, the 12 girls who competed will become 7 and compete next round, with new idols as mentors.

We were seated by two comfortable couches and got a chance to talk to each other while the camera runs. "Are you a foreigner or were you raised here?" I asked.

"I am actually born and raised here, that's why I have a Korean name. But my dad is Chinese while my mom is Thai." She explains. I was surprised, her Korean is so good.

"So are your parents here?" I ask. She lightly laughed and hesitated to answer. Her face chancing from happy to a little sad.

"No.." She said, still trying to laugh. I frown and pat her shoulder while I see her eyes watering. "They moved back to China, to be with other relatives."

"It's alright.. my parents isn't in Korea either." I said. I knew what she was feeling.. living in a big country, alone. My parents are in Australia right now, and I haven't seen them in a few years.. expect video call.

"Really?" She asks, sniffling. I nod.

"They're in Australia. Don't worry, you're not alone though." I said, still rubbing her back. I change the topic, knowing the camera is still on us. "So do you have a song in mind?" I said. She thinks for a moment.

"Uh yes.. Do you think they would allow us to duet?" She asks. I was taken back by the question, she wants to do a duet with me?

"A duet?" I ask. She nods. "I think so.." I said.

"We should ask.." She says.

"Why would you want to duet with me? I might ruin the performance." I say chuckling.

"No! You're an amazing dancer and singer, it would be an honour to duet with you." She said.

We both ask the producer if duet dances are okay, and to my surprise.. it is.

There was two portions of performances. One dancing, another singing. Singing goes first. Soohyun and I have been working on her vocals for a week until it was time to perform.

Once we got up stage, we were seated on chairs so we would be facing each other.

- Hana will be Yerin, the girl in the white shirt. Jimin, the girl with the fringe, is Soohyun. -

We smiled afterwards and looked at the judges.

"The song choice is great." Jinyoung, JYP, said.

"Your voice was perfect in this song." Jay Park praised. Both of us look at each other and smiled once again.

"I would like to also see you rap soon." YG added. Soohyun nods and we are escorted to preform the dance portion.
