The sunlight blinded Sophia through the white curtains, an odd occurrence due to her current geographical location, waking her up from her loud dreams. Confusion washed up against the caves of her dreary membrane until it started to make a little sense.

There it was again.

The thought of living in Slough forever poisoned her mind as she swiftly fell into the dark abyss of self pity and regret, as her train of thought abruptly one tracked down the path she hoped to set foot on just one last time.

She once had everything she could ever have wished for - but at what expense? Everyone's happiness but her own. The tour buses, the boys, the parties, the attention, the fans but most importantly, the rush she was overcome with whilst standing on that stage with her best friends. Those were the things she missed. Those were the things she had in the palm of her hands. Until it was snatched. Snatched by her own selflessness.

Fifth Harmony had given her fifteen year old self hope, but what no one had told her was that when hope is too heavy, it ends up dragging you down to the sea's surface, leaving you desperate and gasping for air.
