Kori,"Good morning Averi."
Averi,"Hi."
Kori,"Aren't you going to ask how I'm going to get you to fall for me?"
Averi,"No."
Kori,"It's this whole elaborate plan I have. It's going on right now."
Averi,"Okay."
Kori,"I met Farran this morning. Well more like ran into her. Literally. And she's going to join us for lunch today."
Kennidi,"I saw that. She flew across the room. It's like you were a bull."
Kori,"Kennidi."
Neil,"Okay. Stop. Leave Kennidi. Come with me. Come on."
Neil pulls Kennidi away from the table.
Kori,"Mr. Suttel."
Mr. Suttel,"Yes Kori."
Kori,"I can't sit next to Kennidi anymore. If I do, hands will be thrown. I don't want to fight but she's going to take me there. I want to sit next to Averi so I think Kennidi should just be moved to another table."
Mr. Suttel,"Okay. I guess Kane can switch with Kennidi."
Kori,"Please no two guys."
Mr. Suttel,"Crystal with Neil."
Kori,"Sounds good teach."
Mr. Suttel,"Alright class time for Chemistry. I also made a few seat changes."
...
Kori,"What class is this?"
Averi,"ELA."
Kori,"Oh."
Kori,"Well."
Averi,"Yea."
Kori,"Sleep time!"
Averi,"He's just going to wake you up."
Kori,"I can try."

Kori,"Meany."
Averi,"I told you."
Kori,"This is so boring."
Averi,"We have an essay coming up."
Kori,"You're joking."
Averi,"Why would I joke about that?"
Kori,"I hate school. You're the only good part about it."
...
Kori,"Where's this girl?"
Kori,"Averi."
Averi,"I don't know."
Kori,"I'm thinking of going to look for her."
Cameron,"For who?"
Kori,"You can leave."
Cameron,"Who is she looking for Averi?"
Averi,"Farran."
Cameron,"Farran. I know where she is. I can get her for you."
Kori,"No. This determines if she's worthy to come with us to the dance."
Cameron,"You're expanding your date? Won't she be a third wheel?"
Kori,"I thought about that. If I have to leave I don't want Averi to be alone. God forbid you get alone time with her."
Cameron,"What am I going to do?"
Kori,"Who knows. I don't even know you."
Cameron,"I won't do anything to Averi. She's my best bud."
Averi,"I don't know you."
Cameron,"You opened up to me. Not one word answers."
Averi,"Meh."
Kori,"You're so cute Averi."
Farran,"Hi. Sorry I was talking to my friends."
Kori,"Oh. Okay."
Farran,"Hi Averi."
Averi,"Hi."
Cameron,"Hey."
Farran,"Hi Cameron."
Kori,"So tell us about yourself Farran. We want to know who we're going to the dance with."
Farran,"I'm 16 years old, a sophomore. I live a few blocks away from the school. I'm the oldest in my family. I have two younger brothers, they're twins and are in the third grade. I have a step dad."
Kori,"Okay."
Farran,"I can hear about you two. Know who I'm going to the dance with. If you don't mind."
Kori,"Oh yea. I'm sixteen, sophomore. I have an older sister she's a junior, and a brother in the seventh grade. I have a dad. Averi is fifteen, sophomore. She has two siblings and one on the way. Her older brother is a senior, she has a younger sister in the fourth grade, and her parents are together."
Farran,"Cool."
Kori,"You're turn."
Cameron,"Me?"
Kori,"Yes, you heard ours."
Cameron,"I'm Cameron Widing, I'm a sophomore at this here high school. I have a younger sister who's thirteen. I live with my mom. My dad died in a car accident five years ago. Do not say I'm sorry for your lost he deserved it."
Farran,"He was a bad man?"
Cameron,"Very bad."
Kori,"Okay."
Farran,"Do you like you're lunch Averi?"
Averi,"Yes."
Kori,"I haven't eaten lunch."
Cameron,"There's three minutes left."
Kori,"Ugh! Can I have the rest of your food Averi?"
Averi,"Yea."
...
Kori,"Alright home time!"
Kori,"I'm walking home with you all the way today."
Averi,"Okay."
We start to walk to my house.
Kori,"So how are you going to do your hair?"
Averi,"Probably just wear it down."
Kori,"Sounds good. I think you should put a clip in your hair. Then have one side back and the other over your face. Stuck one side behind your ear where people can see your ear rings."
Averi,"Alright. How are you going to do your hair?"
Kori,"In a bun. Genesis is going to do it for me. She says she's going to make it messy but not really. And I'm going to have a bang."
Averi,"Sounds good."
Kori,"So I'm going to pick you up tomorrow at five since the dance starts at four thirty. Then we can leave and get some actual food to eat."
Averi,"We don't have a car."
Kori,"We can walk."
Averi,"In heels?"
Kori,"It's not hard. Unless your brother can drop us off."
Averi,"I don't know."
Kori,"We can ask."
Averi,"You can try."
Kori,"I will."
Kori,"Is he going to the dance?"
Averi,"I don't think so."

I open the door to my home and we both step in.
I head into the kitchen and find Malachi.
Averi,"Malachi."
Malachi,"Yes?"
Kori,"Will you pick us up from the dance and take us to get actual food?"
Malachi,"Huh?"
Averi,"Kori doesn't want to eat the food at the dance and is asking can you pick us up and take us to a restaurant."
Malachi,"How are you going to get to the dance?"
Kori,"My sister's boyfriend is driving."
Malachi,"Oh, okay. I guess I can. Tell mom so I get my car keys back Avy."
Mom,"Oh hi Kori. Hi Avy how was school?"
Averi,"It was good."
Kori,"Hi Mrs. Keagen. Can Malachi pick us up from the dance and then we go get food?"
Mom,"The food at dances are still bad?"
Kori,"Yes."
Mom,"Okay. That's it Malachi. Nothing more. If you have them waiting outside you're not going to get your car back for a month."
Malachi,"Yes mom."
Kori,"Welp I better get going. Goodbye everyone."
Malachi,"Bye."
Mom,"Have a good day Kori."
Averi,"Bye."
