Kori,"It's Friday. Next week we only have a day of class then testing. Then next week of school."

Farran,"Are you ready for the fun to happen?"

Farran,"An awesome fun time celebration. Also the annual skipping of the school."

Farran,"After testing, we all skip school that Friday. Everyone does it. You're new aren't you?"

Averi,"Yea, no one else came. I just did what Malachi said to."

Averi,"We can go watch A Quiet Place."
Farran,"A scary movie?"
Averi,"It's supposed to be really good. It Was certified fresh by the rotten tomatoes thing."
Kori,"That's very good."
Averi,"You don't like scary movies?"
Farran,"I need someone to hold me if we go."

We turn to see Neil.
Kori,"You bring bad luck. No."
Neil,"I mean, what harm could happen."
Kori,"Uh, you're girlfriend Kennidi for example."
Farran,"Her existence is bad luck."

Neil,"We aren't dating anymore."
Kori,"She broke up with you?"
Neil,"I broke up with her."
Kori,"Ohmygod."
Averi,"Leave Neil."
Farran,"Hell is going to be brought on us."
Neil,"She won't do anything."
Kori,"You have no leverage over her! She will come for us and then I'm going to get suspended again. Not see my Averi at school."
Farran,"You can't stop her. You aren't dating."
Averi,"If you were together you could threaten to dump her if she does anything to us."
Kori,"You can't do shit!"

Kori,"Sorry Teach!"
Neil,"I should be able to live my life."

Farran,"No one will live their life with Kennidi around."
Kori,"Why didn't you wait until school was out?"
Neil,"I don't like her anymore. We grew apart. Well, I did."
Kori,"You've doomed us all."
Neil,"I see. I'll do my best to keep her from causing more harm."
Farran,"Oh yea sure you will."

Cameron,"So Neil dumped Kennidi."

Cameron,"It's all over the school. It happened at lunch."
Kori,"She is going to take her anger out on us."
Cameron,"Why?"
Averi,"Farran was dancing with Neil at the dance. That's what provoked the fight. Now they're not together anymore. She's going to blame Farran and Kori."
Kori,"Ugh sophomore year. Why must this be difficult."
Cameron,"It should get better. hopefully."
Kori,"I heard that."
Cameron,"Kennidi is not a nice person when she's, trying to be nice. It's going to be hell when she's pissed off."
Averi,"I wonder if she's okay."
Kori,"What?!"
Averi,"I mean, they have been dating since middle school. Then he breaks up with her. She's mean but she's also human. That had to hurt her."
