Some swears words are about to be used.

Kori,"Good morning."
Averi,"Hi."
Kori,"So that dance was fun yes?"
Averi,"Yes."
Kori,"How was your weekend?"
Averi,"It was good?"
Kori,"What did you do?"
Averi,"Nothing. Watched Netflix."
Kori,"What did you watch?"
Kennidi,"You need to get your friend away from my man."
Kori,"What man?"
Kennidi,"Neil! You keep that slut of a friend away from him or else there's going to be trouble."
Kori,"Oh hell no. If you're having problems keeping your 'man' loyal to you. It's not my friend's problem it's yours. Maybe give him some more attention and he won't start looking for someone else instead of your ass."
Kennidi,"Fucking bitch. I don't need to keep my man loyal if your slutty friend wasn't dancing for money. Her-"
Kori makes a fist as Mr. Suttel comes up, infuriated.
Mr. Suttel,"Kennidi!"
Mr. Suttel,"That is no way to speak of someone no matter how you feel about them. Your language will get you sent to the office. If I hear one more thing out of you you're going down there! Am I understood?!"
Kennidi,"Yes sir."
Mr. Suttel,"Now go to your seat."
Kennidi leaves to her seat and Kori sits down.
Mr. Suttel,"Time for Chemsitry everyone."

Kori growls.
Averi,"Why are you growling?"
Kori,"It was fine when she was messing with me. But now she's talking about my friends. If she talks about you I'm going to kill her."
Averi,"Don't do that."
Kori,"I have to defend your honor."
Averi,"I don't care what she thinks. I know I'm not what she says. Farran isn't a slut. Don't let what she says get to you. And don't tell Farran. I think it's best she doesn't find out about what Kennidi said."
Kori,"Okay Averi."

Kori,"I swear this is going to be the death of me."
Farran,"It's not hard."
Kori,"I don't understand why we use these writing styles."
Farran,"They're rhetorical devices."
Kori,"What?"
Farran,"I think you should pay more attention in class."
Kori,"I'm not even going to use this when I'm an adult. When I talk it's going to be straight to the point. Plus I'm not going to analyze what people are trying to say. Did Shakespeare write plays to have it analyzed by high school students? No. He wrote to entertain!"
"Preach."
Kori,"This is irrelevant. We should be able to read a paragraph without trying to figure out what's trying to be said. There's just what we want to see and it's being formed and trained by teachers telling us what we're supposed to see, even if it's not there!"
Farran,"You've gotten a bit bizarre."
Kori,"I'm irritated."
Farran,"Why?"
Kori,"Kennidi was messing with me again today."
Farran,"That girl. She ought to be beat up."
Kori,"I can gladly do that."
Averi,"No Kori."
Farran,"I have to agree with Averi on that. You'll be suspended."
Kori,"So I pay someone to fight her?"
Farran,"No, you'll be traced back. People are snitches."
"Ouch."
Farran,"You aren't but others are."
Kori,"So ethos is what again?"

Kori,"I must say that I feel as if I did something wrong."
Averi,"Let me see."
I look at the Spanish work.
Averi,"Everything is wrong. Use your quizlet sheet."
Kori,"Ugh."

Kori,"Lunch time!"
Kori,"I finally grabbed a lunch. And I paid for it."
Averi,"Good for you."
Kori,"Yup."
Cameron,"Hi."
Averi,"Hi."
Kori,"Look I bought myself lunch."
Cameron,"Good job Kori."
Kori,"Just because I'm being nice right now doesn't mean I'm not still mad at you for stealing my Averi away like how I knew you would."
Cameron,"Yea. I know."
Kori,"I wonder where's Farran?"
Farran,"Here."
Kori,"Perfect timing!"
Farran,"Yes I know. Now what were you guys talking about?"
Kori,"Cameron stealing Averi away from me at the dance."
Farran,"Oh yea."
"Hi."
Farran,"Oh hi Kennidi."
Kori glares at her.
Kennidi,"Stay away from my boyfriend, slut."
Farran,"I'm sorry who is that again? I forgot that even bitches like you date."
Kennidi,"The fuck you just call me?"
Farran,"You heard me."
Kennidi,"At least I don't have to act slutty just to get someone to notice me."
Farran,"At least I can keep a boyfriend."
Kennidi slaps Farran.
Kennidi,"Sluts get slapped for speaking back."
Farran punches Kennidi.
Farran,"Bitches get stitches."
I just love that line.
Kennidi,"My nose! You're going to pay!"
She punches Farran and Farran fights back.
As they fight one of Kennidi's friends hop in and hold back Farran.
Kennidi kicks her in the stomach.
Kori rams into Kennidi.
She holds down her hands and repeatedly punches her in the face.
Kennidi's friend comes over and pulls off Kori.
Farran pulls back the girl's hair and start fighting her while Kori fights Kennidi.
Farran slams the girl's head on the table and they fight.
Kori gets tripped by another of Kennidi's friends as Kennidi stomps on Kori.
Averi,"I have to help."
Cameron,"She has it. Just wait."
I look back at Kori.
Kori grabs her leg and makes her fall onto the floor.
The friend punches Kori and Kori pulls a right hook knocking out the girl.
Kennidi runs and helps beat Farran.
Kori runs over, jumps, and kicks Kennidi in the side.
Where are the adults??
She grabs Kennidi hands and lock them above her head with one hand.
She then punches Kennidi repeatedly.
Farran pulls Kori off of Kennidi.
Kori shouts curse words at unconscious Kennidi.
Cameron,"I wonder where the adults are."
I look around and see none.
They did not seriously leave us alone.
Kori,"...FUCKING BITCH!!!"
"Ladies!!!!"
We turn to the assistant principal standing with three security guards.
"Report to my office."
She turns sharply on her heels.
Her short hair sways as she walks away angrily.
Three security guards pick up the unconscious girls.
Two more come and walk with Kori and Farran to the office.
Cameron,"Well."
Averi,"You don't think they're going to be expelled."
Cameron,"No. If they are we can make a protest. I mean Kennidi does pester a lot of people."
Averi,"Yea."
"DOGG!! I got all of that on video!"
"Post it so everyone can see."
Cameron,"Wow, these kids."

I sit in my class alone.
Kori and Farran would be here right now but they're still at the office.
Intercom,"Would a Averi Keagen please report to the office. Averi Keagen to the front office."
Miss,"You can go Averi. Here's a pass."
Averi,"Thank you."
I walk to the office and see Kori and Farran in the principal's office.
"Averi?"
Averi,"Hi Ms. Touche."
It's pronounced Touse.
Ms. Touche,"What are you doing here?"
Ms. Touche is the school's psychologist. I was sent to her office by a teacher.
Averi,"The fight at lunch. They might ask me questions about it."
Ms. Touche,"Alright. If you ever need me I'm in my office."
Averi,"Yes miss."
"Averi?"
I turn to face a stern faced old man at the desk.
"Go into the assistant principal's office."
Averi,"Okay."
I head there to meet Mrs. Grein.
Averi,"Mrs. Grein?"
Mrs. Grein,"You're Averi?"
Averi,"Yes."
Mrs. Grein,"Come sit. I need you to tell me how the fight happened."
I sit down as she grabs out a piece of paper.
Mrs. Grein,"So at lunch you were sitting with your friend when Ms. Harrow walks up."
Averi,"Kennidi?"
Mrs. Grein,"Yes her. What did she say or not say to provoke a fight?"
Averi,"Well I remember clearly. It was playing over in my head. But the words are not school appropriate."
Mrs. Grein,"It's fine. Say word for word."
Averi,"Kennidi walked up telling Farran to stay away from her boyfriend because they were dancing at the party. She called Farran a slut. Then Farran remarked saying that she was surprised that even bitches like her date. Then Kennidi was saying she couldn't believe she said that and Farran said she did. Then Kennidi said she didn't need to act slutty to get attention from guys and Farran said that at least she could keep a boyfriend. Kennidi then slapped Farran and said sluts gets slapped. The Farran punched Kennidi saying bitches get stitches."
I look to her writing.
Mrs. Grein,"Continue."
Averi,"Then Kennidi hit Farran and she hit back and they started fighting. Then one of Kennidi's friends came and held Farran so Kennidi could hit her. Kori jumped in and fought Kennidi. The friend went over to help Kennidi then Farran went over and fought the girl. Another friend came to help Kennidi and so she fought them both. But the girl first tripped Kori and then Kennidi stomped on her. Then Kori tripped Kennidi. Kori knocked out the other girl as Kennidi went over to help her other friend. Kori kicked Kennidi and then started to punch her. Farran knocked out the girl she was fighting pulled Kori off of Kennidi after she had passed out."
Mrs. Grein,"Okay. Thank you. The fight is all over the internet so I'm going to check your statement of the fight. I need to know if someone else heard the conversation so I know that's true since the other girls involved in the fight are, recovering. So was there someone else there?"
I stay silent.
Mrs. Grein,"Averi. I need to know if you want the right person to be punished. I don't like to punish innocent kids."
Averi,"Cameron Widing was at the table too."
Mrs. Grein,"Kori and Farran said that too. So I'll have him called down. But before you go. Is there any history with conflict between Kennidi and the other girls other than the dance?"
Averi,"Well. Kennidi has been messing with Kori recently. It'll be some words she says to her. This morning she called out Farran to Kori and I in first hour. Insulting her. And Kori stood up for Farran, Farran doesn't have that hour with us, she also insulted Kori too. Mr. Suttel came over and dealt with it."
Mrs. Grein,"Mr. Suttel. Thank you Averi. With this information, the truth will be told soon. Thank you for your cooperation and not withholding info. You may go back to class now."
I nod and head back to class.

I sit in class listening to the teacher talk.

I walk home.
I hope they don't get expelled.
...
Malachi,"Averi are you okay? I heard about the fight."
Averi,"Yea I'm fine."
Malachi,"They shouldn't get expelled over it. Maybe just suspended. It'll be fine."
Averi,"I know."
I go my room and text Kori.

Averi:Hey Kori what happened?

She never responds.
