Mr. Suttel,"Time for Chemistry."
"School hasn't started yet."
Mr. Suttel,"I'm just trying to get my day done."
Kori,"I wonder if she's ever going to apologize to me."
Averi,"Probably not."
Kennidi,"Kori."
Kori,"Kennidi."
Kennidi,"You fight well."
Kori,"You fight dirty."
Kennidi,"Well."
Kori,"Well."
Kennidi,"Apologize to me."
Kori,"You apologize to me. You've been pestering me and then you insult my friend."
She stands up.
A towering twelve inches above Kennidi.
She looks down on her, literally.
Kori,"Then you think that you can just jump her at lunch and expect me not to get in the fight. Something must be seriously wrong in your head to think that I would apologize."
Kennidi,"You knocked me out."
Kori,"I admit that I took it far but you pushed me. I thought we could turn over a new leaf after this stunt you pulled, but it seems you won't change. To think I was actually going to apologize to you for that. No. Leave."
Kennidi,"I can get anyone to do what I want them to!"
Kori,"Not me."
Kennidi,"I can make you alone! You'll have no one."

They both turn my way.
Averi,"And Farran. And I'm sure there are people who don't like you. A lot of people."
Kennidi,"Like who?"
Averi,"You're so-called friends. They talk about you behind your back you know. I heard them."

Averi,"They do. I'd really rather not quote them but,'Kennidi is such a b' 'Kennidi gets on my nerves' 'Man Kennidi doesn't know how to shut her mouth up' 'Kennidi is so stupid, she doesn't even know how to properly insult people. It's so embarrassing.' There's more I could tell you."
I see her friends looking away and they backed up some.
Kori,"Looks like your friends there said it."
Kennidi turns around and sees her friends behavior.
She turns back to Kori, her face red.
Kennidi,"You're just jealous because I have more friends than you!"
Kori,"At least my friends actually like me!"
Mr. Suttel,"I leave the room for a few minutes and come back to yelling. What is going on?"
Kori,"Ask Kennidi, she came over here with her friends."
Mr. Suttel,"Kennidi?"
Kennidi,"I'm heading over to my seat. I was just asking Kori something."
Mr. Suttel,"Alright now go."
Kennidi and her friends leave.
Kori sits down.
Kori,"That was cool what you did there."
Averi,"Thanks."
Kori,"How did you know that?"
Averi,"Well being the quiet kid in school, people don't care what they say around you because they assume you won't say anything."

Mr. Suttel,"School has started! Time for Chemistry."

Kori,"We got back our tests and Averi gotten every question correct."

I eat my food and watch Kori glare at Cameron.
