Chapter 13. cannabis and perfume

We both layed on the wide couch under a blanket smoking. I was just looking at the ceiling. "I just cheated on Kells" I said ashamed. "Lets just call it a really close girl moment" she said. I laughed. "Maya?" I asked looking at her. "Yes?" She asked. "Please dont tell him" I said. "Of course not" she said wiping my hair. It felt so much better than when Kells does it
"Do you need a ride home?" She asked. "No.. If Kells finds out I was with you he'll know." I said. "Atleast put on some of this. He knows I smoke so you'll get caught" she said giving me her perfume bottle that I sprayed a little bit from to my neck. "Thanks" I said getting up and starting to put on my clothes. "Hey" she said taking my arm. I looked at her as an answer. "Be careful. You can call me whenever" she said. "Not that I really could. He took my phone away" I said. She looked at me. I kissed her.
"Its gonna be okay" I said. She smiled

I got out of shining pearl and started walking home with the same feeling as usual. As soon as I get home he's gonna start a fight or something.I cant stand it anymore. But I have to get my phone
As I got in I saw Kells watching tv, so I went directly to my own bed to sleep.
All the bad memories started to rise my head in a dream and I started crying again. I got so mad I just wanted to strangle him.
I got up crying from my bed and walked to the bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror but I couldn't catch the same person I used to be. I didn't see the old Cara anymore
I looked at the scissors by the sink edge and I picked it up slowly
I reached it for the ends of my long blonde hair. I grabbed my hair with my left hand starting to cut. I cut my hair short. As I was cutting a few inches off I just cried and saw the hair falling down on the floor. I saw the dark hair in the roots starting to grow. I cut my hair so It was to my shoulders. I liked the look.
I then put the scissors down and went outside the bathroom.
As I looked to the couch in the livingroom I saw Kells. His eyes caught me.
"Cara" he said. I tryed sneaking to my room avoiding him but he kept on saying my name.
I turned around toward him
"Come here" He said with a demanding voice.
I sat next to him. He looked at me for a second then touching my hair. "What did you do to your hair?" He asked. "Its Pretty" He said. He put his hand around my neck kissing me
He went down kissing my neck and smelling it. "You got new perfume" he said. "Its good" he said. He didnt smell the cigarettes. "Here we are. Talking. And solving things" He said. "Thats what we needed to do, right?" He asked. "Mhh" i mummed.

He layed me down coming on top of me kissing me. He noticed I wasnt on the mood. "You're not on the mood?" He asked. "Well that hasnt stopped you before, has it?" I said. He got up and sat next to me. "I've been thinking about how I treated you. And I wanna be better than that" he said. "Well then you got a lot to practise on" I said. "I'm.. sorry my princess .." he said. "How can I be your princess if you don't treat me like that?" I asked. He turned my look to himself kissing me. "I'll promise I'll treat you like one from now on." He said. I grabbed his neck and he was ready to kiss me. "I wish.... I wish I believed that" I said getting up and walking towards my room. I was just waiting until he would yell for me or come after me holding me trapped in his arms

Ten minutes went by and he knocked on my door. "Baby?" He asked. He came in and sat next to me on the bed as I was layed down. "I really wouldn't wanna sleep on the couch tonight" he said petting my cheek.
I opened the covers behind me and he crawled into them. He came against me tightly putting the covers on us.
He kissed me on the cheek. "Goodnight my princess" he said. I smiled a bit
