"Thanks for coming. I couldnt have done it without you" Maya said as she cleaned the place up. "No problem.." I said closing my jacket. "Where have you been?" She asked. I was quiet. "With him" I said. "Has he been violent?" She asked. I nodded my head.
"Im sorry.. Its gonna be okay" She said. "You can come to my place if you feel like it" she said. "Thank you" I said smiling a bit.
She put the hoover down taking my arm and exposing my wrist
"Cara!" She said. "You have to make this end" she said. "I cant! He barely Lets me leave the house" I said. "Cara... You have to come to my place" she said. "I insist" she said. I smiled hugging her. "How did I ever get so lucky?" I asked. "Hey, its gonna be okay" she said.
"Let's drive by your house and you'll take your stuff" She said. "Okay" I said smiling.
Maya was the only friend I had left. The only person I could trust anymore. Kells using drugs... anyways. We were driving to my place and I was gonna take clothes and stuff. I was staying at Maya's for a few days, I just need a break
I put the key in the door opening the door. "Kells? we need to talk" I said but as I raised my look to the hallway I saw something that just left me speechless.
"Cara" Kells said.
He was making out with some girl in front of me. "Who is she?" I asked with tears in my eyes. "It's no one!" Kells said. "No one? Who is she!!?" I yelled. The girl was looking at me mad and jealous
"I'm his girlfriend? Who you?" She asked. I looked at her and then Kells. "I'm... No one" I said backing off to the door. "Cara!!" Kells yelled after me.
I smashed the door shut behind me running to the car. "Cara!" Kells ran after me
"Drive" I said to Maya who was confused about me crying. I wiped my tears and Maya started driving
The car rushed off right infront of his face
"What happened back there?!" Maya asked. "It's nothing" I said looking out the window
"Tell me" She said taking my hand. I looked at her breaking into tears
"Shh.." She said calming me down. "What did you see?" She asked. "He was making out with a girl.. In the hallway" I said wiping my tears. "I'm sorry." She said hugging me.
"He's such an asshole" Maya said. " i know.." I said. "Lets just go to my house. Lets talk about this" She said. I nodded my head and we just drove
