Dan Thayer's work as an attorney has earned him the respect of many in Grand Island, Nebraska. Outside of work, though, his impact has been felt in community work. Hall County, for instance, has benefited from Mr. Thayer's involvement as a Board Member of the Hall County Leadership (1993 – 1995) and later as its Chairman (1996). He was also a Hall County Co-Chairs for US Senator Deb Fischer in 2012 and Senator Ben Sasse in 2014.
