But sometimes the universe does things that seems to be unfair, that makes you wonder why it happened to you. And later the same day when Jimin returned back home after calming himself down after the fight with his parents, he was met with a horrible sight as soon as he stepped inside. A strong scent of blood had reached his nostrils, and he had found the dead bodies of his parents in the living room. 

Never in his life, he had felt the same horrible pain like he did that evening. Seeing his loved ones lifeless on the floor, had broken him into pieces. 

Later on it got revealed that the murderer had belonged to a different siren gang and had had some kind of connection and past relationship to his parents, but the reason to the terrible crime was still unclear. And who the guilty person was, never got uncovered. So since that day, Jimin had swore that until the day he died, he would search for the guilty person behind the murder. Making them pay for what he had done even if his life depended on it. 

He had been only 15 back then, incapable of doing anything. Not thinking that he would ever be able to love again, but his brothers had helped him heal. Taken him under their wings, and showed him that their was still a glimpse of hope left in this dark world. He was forever grateful for them, and wouldn't want to get hurt for anything in the world. But even though the incredible love they gave to him, he had still felt that he wasn't completely healed yet. An important piece of him was still missing, and hadn't been seen since the day his parents died. 

But now after many years, he might have finally found that missing piece. The one that could finally complete him and make him not only to the person his parents wanted him to be, but also the person that he had wished to be. And now she was standing there right beside him, appeared in his life like the sun does on a rainy day. His missing puzzle piece, his happiness.

Y/N's POV.

"So this was what that tunnel was leading to." you said after coming back to the siren house a while later, and ended up in the mysterious tunnel room were Taehyung once had tried to seduce you. 

Jimin nodded as he handed you a white fluffy towel and some dry spare clothes that he for some reason had laying around, since the two of you was completely drenched from your little adventure. 

"Yes, it's the fastest way for us to travel between places. That if you doesn't count Seokjin hyung's teleporting." 

"That makes sense I think, oh well I should go and change. Or else I will probably catch a cold." you said and brought the towel with you to your room, or well technically it wasn't exactly your room. But it was the room that Jimin had made you stay in for a while ago, so using it for now hopefully wasn't a problem. 

After changing into the clothes that Jimin had given you and dried your hair with the towel, a knocking was then heard. 

"It's open!" you said while brushing through your hair with your fingers, to make it look a bit more presentable and less like a bird nest. 

Jimin came in, having something in his hand. As soon as he saw you, a smile appeared on his lips. 

"That wet hair look suits you, it makes you look sexy." 

Rolling your eyes you instead sat down on the bed in the corner, and watched how he came up to you and sat down as well. 

"The real reason to why I'm here, is because I wanted to give you this." he said and placed something on your thigh. 

Looking down, you noticed that it was a small dagger. It had a beautiful blue leather case, and the shaft had strange inscriptions in it, which you didn't understand since it was written in a language that you didn't recognize. 

"Why are you giving me a dagger?" you asked genuinely confused by the sudden strange gift. 

"It has been in my family for centuries, and it's made with ancient powers. It's purpose is to kill sirens, which are normally extremely hard to kill. I think it contains some kind of sunlight magic, and as you know sunlight used to be a sirens worst enemy since we are a water living creature from the beginning."

Still not understanding why Jimin would give you something like this, because why would a siren own something that could kill it? It just didn't make sense.

"Jimin I don't understand, why are you giving me a weapon that could possibly kill you and all of the others?"

He sighed and took your hand, looking deep into your eyes and said.

"Because I want you to be safe. Since you are a human, you need to be careful while living in a world with sirens. I chose to give it to you, so that you could use it in emergencies. You never know when one could happen, so please carry this with you at all times. Okay?" 

Seeing that he seemed to be serious with this, you nodded and took it and put it in your pocket. 

Suddenly the door flung open, and Taehyung's face appeared. He looked excited and his smile got even wider when he saw the two of you. 

"Heard of knocking before?" Jimin asked rather grumpily, but Taehyung didn't seem to care because he then said.

"Jimin, you have a visitor!"
