Clace Day One

After the exhausting mission which was almost ruined by Simon's anger.
"I told you to do what I said you stupid Vampire," Alec said storming into the institute
"I'm sorry but I couldn't let Raphael act like he did; that was gross and humiliating for young vampires"
"I was handling the situation, I told you to shut up"
"hey Alec, calm down. He said he is sorry," Izzy said placing her hand on Alec's shoulder.
"Why would I calm down, because of that we almost died?" he said leaving for his office.
"Why is he so on edge, that's not how he is usually?" Clary asked
"he has not been able to text nor see Magnus for the whole day" she rolled her eyes and left for the kitchen.
"I think I'll go back home" Clary said,
"You are not staying for dinner? I'm making chicken soup." Izzy said, looking at Clary "I know you like Chicken soup and Ja..." She added looking around for Jace
"I think Jace is gone" Clary said giggling "and I think I'll leave too. I'm sorry Iz next time" Clary smile and left

Clary was on her way home when Jace called her she picked up the phone with a bright smile and answered

"Hey beauty"

"Hey Jace what's up?"

"Oh nothing new do you want to hangout like right now," He asked

"Sure where"

"Just here" he said smirking and looking at her, he was standing on his bike waiting for her just few steps ahead

She looked at her phone a little bit upset but when she looked ahead of her she saw him "why would you call me when you are just in front of me?" she said cocking an eyebrow at him

"I don't know" he shrugged and got on the bike handing her a helmet "are we going or not" he asked

She smiled and put on the helmet .as soon as she got on the bike, Jace took off. They were riding and slaloming between cars when Jace reduced his speed as soon as he reached a bridge.

The sun was almost down when they reached, Clary was amaze by the sun rays "I wish I could draw," she said removing her helmet

"You can still take pictures," he said removing his helmet and getting down of the bike

She took out her phone and took at least fifty pictures. They stayed there until the sun was gone. They were about to go but when Jace wouldn't start the bike

"What's wrong?" Clary asked

"The bike, it seems like there is no more juice"

"what do you mean no more Juice Jace we are miles away from home and from the institute" Clary say frowning she got off the bike and took her phone out to call Izzy but she wasn't picking . She then tried Simon but he was rehearsing after he left Izzy and the sound in his headphones was too loud for him to hear his phone ringing.

"Izzy is not picking nor Simon, can you try to call Alec," she asked

"Why can't you call him?"

"He blocked my number, I still don't know why"

"I can't call him the bet remember?"

Clary frowned and moved closer to Jace looking at him straight in the yes "If you don't start Dialing Alec's number on that phone I'm throwing in this river"

"Chill okay, I'm telling him that doesn't count," he said dialing Alec's number

"It counts because you were too dumb to fill your bike," she said leaning on the bike arms crossed

Jace dialed his number and as it was ringing, Alec picked the phone and saw Jace's name.

"Jace" he said, "you weren't supposed to call me right?"

"Alec it's an emergency Clary and I are stocked on the bridge," he said

"Your bike"

"Empty I didn't get it full before leaving"

"I'm on my way," Alec said with a large smile on his face

"I know I'm disturbing you but ... what did you say" Jace asked surprised

"I said I'm coming" Alec repeated

"No.....you should first shout at me," He said

"Well you lost the bet so no need to shout at you" Ale c laughed

"Oh ... I get it" He replied in a low tone

Alec laughed and told him he will be there in few minutes, Jace told him where they were and hang up

"What did he say?" Clary asked

"He is gladly coming to pick us," He answered

"Not really surprised, get ready for whatever he is going to ask you to do" Clary said laughing

"That" Jace said a little shocked, he did not stop imagining all the horrible things Magnus or Alec, and well anyone who would win the bet will do to him. Few minutes a portal opened in front of them and Alec stepped out of it.

"Are you guys getting in or what?" He asked

"Sure let's go Jace" Clary said taking her helmet with her

"You called Magnus for the portal right? You lose too," He said grinning

"If that's what matters for no, I called Catherina and Magnus is with Max remember?" He said rolling his eyes before the portal closed behind them.

"Thank you Catherina" Alec said to Catherina

"Any time Alec, I have to go and take Madzie from school," She said

"Sure is she fine?"

"Yes she is and she might be coming by next week" She replied taking her coat

"I'll tell her that goodbye" she waved at him, Jace and Clary

"So Jace is out right?" Izzy said walking into the main hall giggling

"Yes, all that in the name of romance" Clary said laughing

"Ouuuh really" Izzy said taking Clary's arm "let tell me that sweet trip gone wrong" she giggled leaving with Clary to her room. Jace sighed and left for his room while Alec laughed and went to his office.
