Malec Day One

"Hello Alexandre how was your night." Magnus said gently placing a kiss on his cheek

"Amazing, as always when I'm by your side." Alex said

"That's sweet but it's the last time of the week" Magnus sadly said

"Yes, I know and soon Izzy will be popping up here with Max."

"Then let's enjoy our last minutes then." Magnus said dragging the covers back on them.

Few hours later

"Hey Magnus are you are in!! , why am I asking that, I know you are in just open the door!!" Izzy shouted knocking on the door roughly

"Are you the next cock-blocker?" Magnus replied opening the door followed by Alec trying to button up his shirt.

"No!, wait, Clary and I are the only ones, who are allowed to come here?

"I think?" Magnus replied

"it's yes then, I didn't mean to I'm sorry..." She said

"I'm already use to the Lightwoods interrupting my daily activities" He said looking at Alec smirking

"Hi Alec" Izzy said

"Hi Max. I'm glad to see you, even though its not a good time" Alec said Max

"I'm glad too and don't mind , being able to go on a real patrol with you guys,is worth it.." Max said

"Ah that yes." Alec said scratching the back of his head.

"Magnus, Alec and I will be going to the institute there is a meeting with the clave, can max say here with you for a while?" Izzy asked

"As long as he wants to.." Magnus said patting Max's head

"Of course I want to, maybe I'll learn new tricks" He replied smirking

"Obviously you will let's start by having a breakfast, what do you think?"

"Waffles please" He replied smiling

"Mr Bane there will be a meeting with the head of the downworlders and I tomorrow your presence will be highly appreciated" Alec said

"I will be present and thank you for the reminder Mr Lightwood" Magnus replied

"You're welcome"

They left the loft and on their way to the Institute they discussed about the Bet

"So how is you're "no phone week" going on " Alec asked chuckling

" Well I've started writing "Izzy proudly replied

" What writing like writing " Alec asked shocked

" Yes Alec using a paper and a pen or pencil. " She said rolling her eyes " it's kind of like a diary."

" Oh ok and what do you put in it" Alec asked waiting for her reply

"How I'm spending a week without phone nor make-up"

"Talking of makeup you have some on your face."

"Yes it's yesterday's"

"How did you do that"

"Girls' secret" she replied with a large smile

"Okay if say so..."

They arrived the institute and found Jace was mumbling, arms crossed and looking at Clary.

"Jace what's going on?" Alec asked.

"I had a problem this morning, about where we had to patrol, in other for me get dressed accordingly and bring proper weapons" Jace said

"I told you that yesterday" Alec said

"I forgot" Jace said

"But we had to meet this morning" Alec angrily said

"I know but I wanted to get ready before time" Jace said

"So he tried calling you, then I reminded him about the bet. He then grew his phone and he is sited there since one hour and mumbling" Clary said giggling

"Even if he called I was busy" Alec replied rolling his eyes

"And I interrupted them because the bet had begun" Izzy said

"I wasn't busy with Magnus I was packing up my stuffs." Alec said

"It's just one week" Izzy said

"I know and it's enough for me to fail the. Let's get back to business, yesterday Raphael called me and said there are some Vampires that are distributing Yin Fen and he heard it from a discussion between vampires and he wants us to check it out." Alec said,

"Why don't he do it himself?" Izzy asked,

"Because he will kill them before thinking" Alec said with a little sarcasm

"You're right" Izzy said

"But we need a vampire with us" Clary said

"Yes, unfortunately for me I called Simon, he has become a great asset, so why not us him." Alec said

Alec was still explaining what their mission was when Simon came in

"Hi guys "Simon Said

"Hi Simon" Everyone replied

"So what's the plan?" He asked excited

"You stay quiet and follow the rules," Alec said

"Owh okay" Simon replied

"And if any of you tries to break the bet, well I'll let you" Izzy said giggling

They got ready and took their weapons.

While in Magnus loft, Max had been having fun playing with Magnus which is very rare. Those two met once in a while only when Magnus had to babysit Max Because of some meetings or work in the institute.

"hey Max would you like to watch a movie" Magnus ask

"Yes please, but do you have video games??" Max asked

"no but we can go and get some i think a store opened few blocks away " Magnus said taking Max's coat and opening the door " come on lets go"

Max grabbed the coat running downstairs.
