#11 - Standing Stagnant

Standing Stagnant on the beach one day,

I saw the waves becoming as still as me.

I was so lost in a claustrophobic condition,

That I forgot to notice the wind whirling around me.

There were two birds lost in springly talk,

And the huge boulders gave them company.

The sky seemed vast and huge,

And somewhere in the horizon,

I knew there was someone who knew was feeling the same I felt,

But what unbeknownst to me.

My composure broken into pieces,

All I wanted to do is,

Was to break this charming silence of the morning air,

As it was unbearable for a teen,

To witness these tornadoes with their flair.

A broken oar lay by,

Probably it was waiting for its boat,

But whom was I waiting for?

This thought gave me a boom,

I waited for no destiny to arrive now,

My own path was waiting for me.
