Chapter 14: Due Date
Antonia is at the doctor's to see when Amaya's due.
"Hello Ms.Davis,how are you?" Dr. Cortez asked.
"I'm doing great"
"So today were checked the baby's heartbeat and then I'm gonna tell you the baby's is due." he said.
"Ok"
Dr. Cortez put a fetal doppler on Antonia's belly so she could hear Amaya's heartbeat.
"It seems like the baby has a good heartbeat" Dr.Cortez said as he looked at the screen.
"That's good" Antonia said as she listened to the baby's heartbeat.
Later...
"Ms. Davis since your are 34 weeks pregnant,you will be due in 7 weeks" he said.
"So will I need to get a C-section?" Antonia asked.
"Probably it depends on how big the baby is" Dr. Cortez stated.
"Ok,thank you so much Dr. Cortez" she said calmly.
"Your welcome and you have a wonderful day" he said
"You too" Antonia said.
