There was a different feeling in the air that day. Guiliana felt it. Or maybe it was the mold and dust finally getting to her. Her body was finally starting to give out. She didn't know how much longer she could push through. Nonetheless her feeling was some what accurate as when her daily visitor walked in instead of tending to his daily actions he made his way over to the locked up window on the left of the room. Guiliana noted the difference going on and beared through the pain to raise her head. After doing so she moved it in the direction of the man. He looked different. His usual long messed up hair was completely shaved off making the scar along his eye more prominent. She always wondered what happened but never took enough interest to ask. His dark brown eyes took on a lighter shade now and were completely bloodshot. Not to mention he wasn't wearing his usual large jacket causing his flame neck tattoo to be fully exposed.

She wasn't sure what was going on but she was too weak to care.

The room was in total silence. Well except for the drip. drip. drip.
Guiliana watched on as his chest raised and lowered with each heavy breathe he took.

Twenty minutes had passed and the room was in the same state of sameness. Neither of them had moved. Not that Guiliana could move.
After thirty minutes he began to make his way over to her. He had opened the window and she hadn't noticed. He took in a deep breath and commenced on loosening the rope on her right wrist.  When he got to her left hand he released it and watched on as her body fell to the ground in a lump. Everything was happening so fast but in slow motion at the same time. She was in shock that he had untied her wrists but was skeptical of his intentions. Her body lay there in a still pile, afraid and unable to move but her mind was racing.

What is going on?

"Go", his voice rang throughout the room startling Guiliana and causing her to flinch. As her mind wasn't the same as when she had first gotten here it took here a while to comprehend what was going on, after all she had long diminished the thought of being able to leave. Although this was an opportunity she had longed for she couldn't get her feet to bring her to the window.

"If you want to leave them you better hurry there isn't much time left and remember no matter what do not go to the police and do not go home they will be looking for you", he exclaimed sternly inturrepting her mini debate with herself. But how could she move? Her body had become completely stiff and sore and even the slightest movement left her in pain. Then she realized the urgency in his voice: was he helping her escape? After keeping her captive for god knows how long why was he doing this? It wasn't like she was supposed to be leaving as you could see the secrecy in him helping her, but what had led him to these actions? She pushed those thoughts aside as she began to process that she was finally going to be able to leave the captivity she was in. But then again was faced with the problem that she couldn't move.

"I- I-", she struggled to get out, voice hoarse from haven't spoken in weeks. He continued to watch on as she desperately tried to speak.

"I ca- can't m- move", Guiliana breathed out content that her strained voice had still allowed her to communicate. Realizing that she wouldn't be able to just bounce up and saunder out of the room, he strolled over to her aid, helping her to her feet. Then he placed her arm over his shoulder and his across her back to get her to the window. Once at the window he hoisted her across where she landed gently in the grass since they were on the first floor. After doing so she had gathered enough energy to stand on her own and gazed around the neighborhood they were in silently thanking that it was night outside then turned to look in the room at the man who just helped her. Before she could question his actions he handed her a backpack and turned to the door to make sure no one was going to walk through ("not that anyone would" she thought as he had been the only one she saw ever in her room).

"The nearest bus station is down the street. Don't draw attention to yourself, get there as quickly as you can, and don't look back. There is money in the side pocket, take a bus and get as far from here as you can", he spoke with a cold but gentle tone. His voice was deep though and it intimidated her so she had no choice but to oblige sans questions. Realizing that this was really happening she moved away from the house she was held in and made her way to the sidewalk where she started on for the bus station. Everything that had happened to her wasn't registering. The shock was powerful and it made her unaware of the severity of the situation. Her mind was far away but nonetheless her feet carried her to where she needed to be.
