(Y/N) POV
Why?...what did I do to deserve such an awful life?... to not be loved by my family, the constant physical and mental abuse they give to me just ....why?
Tai my so called farther had just finished beating the living crap out of me after yang and ruby lied that I had attacked ruby, and them knowing that there word would be taken more then mine, if I ever did try and stand up for myself the beatings would be worse, being told I'm nothing but a lier,in the end wether I stayed inside and spoke no word to anyone they would just,make up any excuse to beat me blue.
Tai: "(Y/N)!! GET DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW!!"
(Y/N): (great...what's it gonna be this time?)
I scurried down the stairs as fast as I can for I knew if I didn't the punishment would be worse, as I make my way to the living room I could see all the faces of so called family,as soon as they have a glimpse of me they return a face if disgust.
(Y/N): "im here..what is it you want?"
*SLAP*
The left side of my face stung as tai yang slapped me as hard as possible I could only wince I couldn't let them see me cry that's just what they would want.
Tai: "DONT YOU EVER SPEAK TO ME LIKE THAT!YOU LITTLE SHIT!"
Summer: "I can't believe I gave birth to you."
Those words although I heard them a million times before still hurt ,but I knew she probably meant those words not once in my life did she tell me she loved me, sang a lullaby to help me sleep, or showed a motherly side to me.
Ruby: "yeah! Why were you even born, you're just a total waste of space!"
Yang: "yeah, not to mention you're just a weak good for nothing."
Yang then punched me in the gut knocking the air out of me and earning laughs form the other three.
Tai: "nice one sweety!"he then turn to me " Now listen qrows coming over so you're going go and prepare a nice meal, then go to you're room."
(Y/N): "b-but... why can't I eat with you guys?...c-can't I just eat with the family for once?"
*SLAP*
I once again stinging sensation on my left cheek, but it had not come for tai.
Summer: "DON'T.YOU.DARE,SPEAK BACK TO US!KNOW YOUR PLACE AND DO AS YOU ARE TOLD!UNDERSTAND!
I simply nod and make my way to the kitchen seeing both yang and ruby with a smirk plastered across there face.
(Time skip) (third POV)
As (Y/N) finished up dinner her looked out to see tai and qrow training ruby and yang as summer watches with a warm smile each time (Y/N) had asked if he could train with them he was simply ignored or told he would never a as good a hunter as yang and ruby.(Y/N) saw them finishing up and heading back.
(Y/N)POV
Tai: "great job girls,keep that up and you might become professional huntresses one day!"
Qrow: "yeah and you might be able to finally beat your old man and me."
They all laughed and made there way to the table, once they all sat I began to serve them.
Qrow: "ha, tai guess you finally found out what this kid is useful for." He jokes as the rest of them laughed.
Tai: "I know, I myself was starting to wonder if he was even worth keeping ,but now we have a servant out of him."
YANG: "event though he isn't a very good one!"she joked
Ruby: "yeah!"
Summer: "now now girls, yo can make a fool of him later right now finish dinner."
Yang/ruby: "OK MOM!" The reply enthusiastically. They would usually do this talk as if I were not in the room when I'm right in front of them.seeing and hearing this I took it as my que to leave.
Tai: "where do you think you're going?"
(Y/N): "u-um well I thought you guys no longer needed me s-so I—"
*PUNCH*
I fell clutching my nose in pain..
Tai: "DON'T you ever, leave without asking first!" I simple nod trying my best not to shead a tear and failing at it.
Yang: "Aww is the baby going to cry?"she asked with a sadistic Smile
Qrow: "Come on kid MAN up!"
Summer: "and you want to become a huntsman pathetic."
Ruby: "yeah you'll never be a strong huntsman."
They laughed and continued to insult me each insult like a dagger in the heart, when they were done insulting and belittling me tai dragged me to my room tossed me in before saying..
Tai: "you're no son of mine, you shouldn't even be part of this family."

slamming the door after her says those words,I made my way over to my bed which was just a old used single mattress with a little worn out pillow and no blanket, I laid there and thought about all those words said to me all the pain they put me though...if they really did love me they wouldn't be like this....they would celebrate my birthday...they would let me celebrate Christmas with them...they would train me...they would tell me...they love me.
My heart aches..
(Y/N): (what did I do to them? I'm i that much of a burden to them? I-I'm I not good enough?) suddenly I feel something all the heart ache gone and now replaced with something else....anger no longer did I see it as it were me that had done wrong ,but them, the ones who caused me to feel this much pain, the ones that treat me worse then an animal it was not me ...IT.WAS.THEM!
A smile creeps it's way on to my face and I silently laugh to myself.
(Y/N): " ha-ha they think I can't become strong,that I'm weak and a nobody? I'll show them, I'll escape this hell and grow as strong as the- no I'll surpass them ,then we'll see laughing then."I look out the window and see the beautiful moon, I lay back down and put my hand to the sky. "Once I get a chance I'm leaving this hell hole."
Third POV
(Y/N) then let sleep over come him no longer thinking of how his family despised him, but how he would escape and ,prove to them that he the one the called weak, the one they neglected and abused, would surpass them all.
