The rest of the day flew by in a blur. I felt like I was in some sort of dream-like trance.

I was currently pulling myself out of bed, and beggining my morning routine. As I brushed my teeth, my mind was packed full of thoughts about Haley. She was just so... so amazingly intriguing. It was like suddenly, my whole life was lit up because of her. It felt like I had stepped into a rabbit hole, and now I'm falling into an endless oblivion. But the punchline.. is that I never want to find the bottom of this hole. I just want to ride the wind, and let this adrenaline run through me forever. Is this normal?

Do normal girls have these thoughts about their first kiss? I mean, I know I'm not exactly experienced when it comes to stuff like this, but geez. Like, hormonal much?

And speaking of which, Oh man, when we kissed. She was an amazing kisser. (again, not that I've had alot of experience.)

Her lips were so soft, and warm, and they fit against mines as if they were made for each other. I wonder if our bodies would fit together like that.... Oh geez, Chrissy, get a grip.

I rinse my mouth and walk out of the bathroom door. When I get to the bed, I hear my phone buzz.

I quickly open it to find a text from Haley. I try to ignore the skip of a heart beat.

Haley(:- coffee? theres a cool place downtown i want to show you... By the way, hi. :-)

I grin, as I reply.

Yea sounds great! Be there in 10? and hi as well(=

did that sound too eager? Oh what the hell, it's fine.

I put on some shorts, a fashionable-yet-modest tank top, and some converse, then I'm out the door and in the car, all in about four minutes- tops.

When I get to the adress Haley gave me, I look at the building nervously. Was this a joke?

It was like a tiny side street buisiness. The sign had a few letters burned out, but I figured it was supposed to say Monte's coffee and more.

Monte's coff e  a d more

Alright, I guess I'm going in. On my way into the little shop, a group of hungover, high-as-a-friggin-plane looking men stepped in front of me.

" Hey hon. How are ya? How come your out here all alone?"

A man with ruffled hair, and a creepy looking mustache asked me.

"Um, I'm meeting someone. so, could you just kindv'e like, you know, move?"

The men laugh as if I just told them a 'A guy walks into a bar' joke. I dont see whats so funny. Matter of fact, I'm getting a little aggravated.

" This one is fiesty! I like me some fiesty women." Suddenly, I feel someone grab my arm from behind, and I wirl around and slap the person in the face.

When I realize who it is, I want to puke.

Haley rubs her cheek, frowning. " God damnitt, Chris! I was gonna save your ass, but now we both just look really stupid."

Oh shit.

Mr. Creepy Stache grins. " Lookee here, boys. We got two now.... bag em."

I feel rough hands wrap around me,and I growl. I couldn't really help it, it just happened.

Everyone but Haley laughs, and suddenly I just snap. I feel myself shift in the mans arms. I bark and snap my jaws at the men as they stare at me in horror. Ha, now Im the one laughing. Sick bastards.

Haley breaks out of the guys arms, and stands beside me. She stares at me, transfixed by my appearance. I yip at them one more time, and then they scatter like mice.

Haley grins, and then leans down on one knee. " I could kiss you, but your a dog right now." I'm thankful she can't see me blush. I begin to shift back, but then abruptly stop. I look at the remains of my shredded clothes on the pavement and whine.

Perfect. This is just perfect. Now I can add "Ripping my clothes to shreds" on the Way to Screw Up a Date list.

Good job, Chris.
