Awkwardly Perfect (Poem/song)

Okay, this one is kind of weird. It came to me sort of as a (very bad) song, not like my usual poetry. I wouldn't even post it, except I'm trying to post everyday and I'm too lazy to search through my giant shoe box of papers to find an actual poem, and this is close at hand. So, yeah... sorry if it's not any good. I really can't tell.

She's that awkward kind of perfect

Slips right through your mind

And you can never quite remember

what she felt like in your arms.

But you'll hold her in the moonlight

and you'll kiss her in the sand

She's that awkward kind of perfect

that keeps you tethered to the land.
