They all walked outside and into the car that was parked outside the house. Gidget decided to drive, obviously! No one trusted Bob and and the other 4 obviously didn't have a license.

Once they arrived at the park, they were in for a surprise.

The autumn breeze and the scarlet leaves came together to choreograph the new season. The street in its new design no long said "walk" but instead "dance with me." Nobody waltzed to work, no-one did the tango to the bus, but inside they all heard the music that belonged to the autumn, the notes that stroke a chord with their inner rhythms and kept them happy.

They could clearly see that people wee happy because they were either skipping, smiling or clicking their heels. Gidget's hair blew over her face and landed in her mouth. "Ew," she mumbled, pulling it back again. Carly's hair was in a ponytail so her's didn't go in her face, same with KC. Pearl's was in a half ponytail that was wrapped in a red ribbon.

Everyone wore warmer clothes, except H and Bob, who were just normal. Most wore a hoodie but Carly wore a cardigan with a jacket on top.

"I'm gonna climb the tree!" Carly chirped and ran towards the tallest tree with Pearl following  behind. "Don't-oh, there'snopointoftrying..." sighed Gidget. They usually didn't listen to her first time so she had to keep shouting at them. KC and Bob took one of Gidget's hands each while H just walked on his own. He just thought about life instead.

As the 2 girls ran over to the tree, they began seeing how tall it really was.

The growth of the forest trees rose upward forever, the canopy above was distant, like clouds of green. Even with arms out-stretched they would never even be able to reach even a fraction of the way around their gnarly bark trunks. Stepping carefully over the roots that knotted the pathway, watching the freshly fallen rain seep into the soil, they are struck by a wish to melt in with it. Not to die, but to live forever. It was a weird feeling, but nice.

Carly eventually found a grip but Pearl didn't, so she just leaned on it instead. It was fine anyway, because she didn't want her glasses to accidentally fall off when she was climbing.

Worried, KC let go of Gidget's left hand and ran towards the trees that she saw her 2 older sisters go towards. Gidget followed, taking Bob with her because he was tightly holding her hand. H stayed there, listening to music, not giving a care about the world, except Rosalina. He didn't even know that the other 3 had left!

Eventually, Carly was able to sit on a branch that was higher than Pearl's head. It took a while but it was possible. KC found them eventually, got Carly to climb down and they went on a looooong walk. H stood in that exact spot for another hour, thinking about his true love.

After an hour, they got back to H and they went back in the car and went home, or so they thought they were going home.
