Kenzie's pov "Lauren i need to tell you something" I said she left johnny in his car and came with me they weren't going to drive me back home i was going to walk "so what did you wanna tell me" She asked
"Look i am throwing a party for my birthday so i wanted you to come" I said unsure "yeah sure happy birthday when is that" She asked "today at 8 p.m." i replied
"Alright can i bring someone with me" "Yeah sure invite anyone you want" i said "thanks for inviting" she said "U r welcome" i said
《After school》 "I am home " i said and of course no response like always well i will not Be sad in 16th birthday i went to my room and of course did the only thing that will make me in a good mood
Dance so after an hour of dancing i decided to take a long hot bath i was so relaxed after that bath well i have two hours to choose my outfit and get ready i chose this outfit

I curled my hair and did a simple makeup then i wore white heels And i was ready by 7:30
I Went down sat on the couch wating for someone to arrive so i just scrolled down my phone until someone knocked on the door i went to open it
It was nadia byrnn mark and brandon "Happy birthday "they all said "thanks" i said letting them in we started to talk and not too long there was a knock on the door again
It was lauren and Johnny why did she bring that jerk of a brother she has "happy birthday" she said and he faked a smile "thanks come in" i said They follwed me where i was sitting with the squad after that everyone started to come and songs started playing but i wasn't enjoying
Maybe because maddie is not here with me in my sweet 16 i shake it off like i do with anything that bothers me
"Are you okay" lauren said snapping me out of my thoughts "yeah yeah i am fine " i said "okay it's 10 p.m. and i need to go we promised our parents to be back by ten " lauren said
Can you tell them you're sleeping over "you know i don't wanna sleep alone on my birthday night " i said hoping they say yes i don't really want to be alone "alright I'll tell them" she said
A few minutes later she told me her parents agreed and johnny will pick her up tomorrow anyways everyone started to leave at midnight
And it was just me and lauren let me be real i didn't invite the other girls Cuz i feel more comfortable with lauren more than them
"We should call it a day and watch somthing " she said smiling "sure let's go" i replied we went to my room watched some new episodes from riverdale and of course ate so many snacks
"Kenz kenz kenzie " i woke up to someone shaking me to wake up it was lauren and she already changed the pyjamas i gave her yesterday "What" i said pulling the sheets of off me "good morning it's 6:am i gotta go" Laur said
"Morning ahh i forgot we have school today" i said she chuckled at me "Okay see you i guess" i said hugging her "see you" she said waving and left the room
