CHAPTER 16

Scarlett's P.O.V 

After my parents got cleaned up , I made my way up to my room after saying a faint goodnight to everyone. I changed into my black silk pyjamas and climbed into  bed. I laid flat on my back staring at the dark ceiling above me, thinking about the events that went on in a short space of time. Deep In my thoughts, I heard a knock on the door. 

"Come in" I said not moving. The door opened and I saw Aiden walk in. 

" Hey, need some company?" He asked after closing the door. I patted the spot beside me and he made his way next to me. 

"You ok Scar?" he asked looking down at me with soft eyes. Even in the dark, you couldn't miss his beautiful emerald green eyes.

"Yeah, I'm ok." I said flashing him a fake smile. he observed me a little more and laughed humorlessly. 

"You now, you can  walk around and fool everyone else but you can't fool me. I know your our gang leader and you have a reputation of being tough and ruthless but I wont judge you if you open up a little or even spill a couple tears and I don't think the others will either. It is ok to be a little soft inside scar, so let me ask you again, are you ok?" he asked and the tears welled in my eyes. 

"No." I said a tear escaping and he didn't hesitate to wrap his huge arms around me and I started to sob. I would even think of crying much less doing it in someone's arms. 

After my little crying session, we talked a little about random stuff and it felt nice to actually open up to someone who has an idea of what I'm going through. I was getting sleepy so we said our good nights. Before he left, something flashed in his eyes but it was gone before I knew what it was.

The Next Day

I woke up the next morning with the sun shining through my blinds. I picked up my phone and noticed that it was spammed with messages from Emma asking where I was and if we could hang out today. I told her I was home and didn't feel like leaving the house today. After that, I headed straight for the bathroom and freshened up for the day. I wore a sky blue Nike crop top with a white skirt and a pair of white fenty slippers. I ran the brush through my hair and went downstairs.

When I got down, I saw Ethan sitting on a bar stool, his back to me. I took my time and crept up behind him and when I was about to touch him, he turned around and the next thing I know, there is a knife directly at my throat. When he realised it was me, he dropped the knife like it scorched his skin.

"Scar I'm so sorry! What were you doing anyway, I could've killed you! " he half shouted with mixed emotions all over his face.

"It's ok Ethan, be glad I'm alive." I said and walk around the island to make some cereal. I went over to the living room and watched a show on Netflix called Riverdale. I felt a presence beside me and saw that it was Aiden.

"Hey." He said sitting beside me and I leaned into him, an action I'm gonna get used to.

"Hey." I said my eyes glued to the t.v.

"What you watching?" He asked.

"It's called Riverdale." I said and he nodded. He wrapped his arm around me and a warm feeling enveloped me when he did so, making me feel like I belong here. It just feels right being in his arms but I highly doubt the he likes me like that, hell I don't even know if I like him like that.

"Penny for your thoughts?" He said bringing me back to reality.

" Nothing. " I said lying. He gave me a look that says 'seriously?'

"Okay fine. It's just that Emma, Tyler and I have been best friends since grade school and I can't even tell them my biggest secret." Giving him the best lie I could think of.

"As you just said , you guys are best friends. You should be able to tell them anything and they don't change their attitude towards you." He said buying the lie but that was pretty good advice.

"Thanks Aiden, I appreciate it." I said and he just nodded.

"You should consider being an psychologist." I said and he chuckled which brought a smile to my face.

"I'll think about it." He said and we went back to watching the movies with one thought walking around my brain, does he like me like that?

The rest of the day, most of the gang and I just relaxed while some of them where contacting the other parts of the gang. I also called my gun dealership and they told me they had some new things in stock and I should come and check them out when I got the time.

I made some stake and mashed potatoes for dinner and took some to my brother in the cell. I went down and saw him just sitting there with his head hung low.

"Wake up, time to eat." I said and he slowly lifted his head.

"I thought you were gonna leave me here to starve." He said.

"I would if you were a complete stranger but your my brother. "I said and he gasped.

"You still consider me as your brother, after everything I put you through? "He asked, his eyes filled with confusion.

" Yes after everything you put us through, your still my other half, no matter what, I still love you, and I hate it. " I said and I sat in the chair in front of him. I fed him in silence without making any eye contact. After he finished, he told me thanks and I just nodded.

I closed his cell and walked away when he whispered almost inaudible, "I love you too sis."

Here's an update guys after soo long, I finally updated. Hope you like it as much as I did. I realised that no one answered the previous riddle so I'm guessing it doesn't interest you  guys anymore, so I'll do something thing different.

Im gonna write two guy/girl celebs. Comment your fav and I'll write the winning celeb in the next chapter as a character.
