Candace Hawthorne

We are back in Mystic Falls for like, 3 days now and Damon and I are still in his house, still "planning" on how are we going to find my father.

Still no progress.

And it worries me.

Because I don't know how long.

" Damon? " I said

He poured bourbon on his glass.

" Yeah? "

" Can I ask you something? "

He sat down beside me.

" Sure. "

I sighed.

" Is something bothering you? " he said

" Yes. "

" And it's connected with the question you're going to ask me. "

" Then ask away. "

" Could we start actually searching tomorrow? "

" Why? "

" What do you mean why? "

" Damon, do you even care? "

" About what? "

" Are you sure? Because, I haven't dealt with this kind of situation or maybe I had, and I didn't volunteer to help. "

I walked out of his living room.

Then I saw Stefan in his car.

" Candace? " he said

" You heard? "

" Not if you-"

I looked at him.

" Do you want to go for a drive? " he said

" I'll drive. "

" To where? "

He shrugged.

" Is it okay for your girlfriend? "

" We'll just be driving around. Then we'll go back. "

Then Stefan and I are in his red car. And he is driving.

" Damon has a temper. " he said

" I saw. "

" But you also, when you are a vampire, all your emotions gets heightened, so, he does not have a temper. "

" Candace, he really cares. He started searching, he's working alongside with the Sheriff. "

Before I could respond, a car hit us hard.

Everything started spinning then I blacked out.
